Chapter 17

(Shubble's P.O.V.)

The aquarium... 

"Alright, let's go!" Will yelled from the back of the car.

I playfully glared at him through the mirror as I started the engine. So the seating arrangement is this: Will sitting at the back with Liam thus leaving me in front with none other than Graser.

"Hey, could you pass the AUX cord?" Liam peeped.

I handed him the cord and sneaked a peek at the boy beside me. He is still typing on his phone.

Is he texting someone? If he is... Who?

The music brought my attention back to the road. However, the thought of Graser texting someone never left my mind. Honestly, I felt a little tear in my heart.

"Are we there yet?" Will whined.

"We'll get there when we get there." I rolled my eyes.

"Finally!" both Liam and Will exclaimed as they hopped out of the car.

I watched as the two ran off to the entrance. I turned to Graser who was frowning down at his phone.

Say something Shelby!

"H-Hey Graser, you okay?"

He turned to me and smiled, putting his phone in his hoodie

"Yeah, of course." He then starts walking towards the entrance.

I finally moved from my place and met them at the door. Liam placed the wristband on my palm and smiled.

"Will payed already, so come on!"

"Then you're going to drive us home." I said, giving him the keys.

"Fine."

"Well, we're going to check out the jellyfish." Will pointed to himself and Liam.

Will grabbed Liam by the wrist and ran off, leaving me once more with Graser. 

I knew something was fishy and I swear it's not just the aquarium.

"I'm gonna go that way, want to tag along?" Graser asked.

"Uh- nah, you can go on without me, I w-wanted to check out the uh- sharks? 

What was that?!

"Oh okay, see ya later then?" He smiled.

I nodded. He turned and walked away. I stared at his back until it disappeared then I let out a sigh. Now you might be wondering "Shelby why didn't you go with him?". Well I just couldn't, I don't know why. Something felt wrong with him so I decided to leave him be.

So here I am walking down an aisle, by myself, without a human in sight. Now it seems like someone is going to come out of nowhere and tell me to give them my wallet. No. Absolutely not. 

I stopped walking and just blankly stared the fish swimming by. My mind wandered off once more to the boy who stole my heart.

Graser... How did I fall so deeply in love with you?

On cue, I see that boy right in front of me on the other side of the fish tank. He's looking up at the fish with the same frown I saw earlier. I placed my hand on the glass and continued to stare at him.

Please notice me...

Suddenly, a girl who I have never seen before hugs Graser. At first I thought it was a fan or a relative, so I just watched. 

Then she kissed him.

My heart stopped beating. The world just crashed down on me. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't even move. My mind flooded with so many things. I didn't even notice that there were tears running down my face. With all the strength I had left, I ran. I didn't look back, I couldn't.

I knew this was going to happen.

AHHH quarantine! A lovely time to finally continue this story... Actually it's been over a month since quarantine has started and I only found my will to write today (May 24). 

It has been a long time. A VERY LONG TIME!!!

My lovely readers, I promise to finally finish this story so I can say that I have accomplished something in my life... I'm kidding. Anyways, this book is going to get an ending it deserves!
