The Final Chapter

(Shubble's P.O.V)

"Ugh... Where am I?"

I blinked a few times to adjust my sight. I looked at my surroundings and noticed my laptop which sat on my desk.

Huh... so I'm in my room...

I stared at my wall and let my mind wander. Then I started processing the events of yesterday. 

We went to the aquarium...

Someone kissed Graser...

I ran...

Graser found me at the beach...

I told Graser I love him... 

He kissed me...

He told me he loves me too...

I TOLD HIM I LOVE HIM... 

HE KISSED ME... 

HE LOVES ME TOO...

My eyes widened. I buried my face into my hands. I wanted to scream. However, my thoughts were cut off by a sudden shift. I turned to see a sleeping Graser sitting beside my bed. Without thinking, my hands brushed through his hair.

He shifted a bit and slowly brought his hand up to mine. He grabbed my hand and sat up, looking straight into my eyes.

"You're awake." He whispered.

His voice was rasp and his eyes sparkled. However he had tear streaks visible on his cheek. I wanted to touch his face, but I couldn't.

"I- yeah..."

I looked away. I don't know why I just can't face him right now. Graser's kept his eyes on me though. His grip tightened, but he was careful not to hurt me. 

"She's my ex." He blurted, "She wanted us to get back together."

That girl that kissed him?

I wanted to ask why, but I decided to stay quiet. 

"That's why I wasn't focused yesterday. She knew I was coming to L.A. and she wanted to see me. I told her to meet me at the aquarium when we left."

My heart started to beat fast. 

Did he want to get back with her too?

But he said he loves me...

"It was an unrequited relationship. She liked another guy. She just used me to get him." He paused, "It happened a year ago. I just walked away from her."

I hear him shift once more, without letting go of my hand.

"Yesterday... I wanted to end things once and for all. I told her everything I wanted to say... I told her she was a b*tch. That she deserved getting cheated on. That I moved on." He breathed in, "That I love someone else. That she makes me happy. That I want her for myself. That I want to hear her say that she loves me everyday."

That line made me turn to him. I felt tears flow down my face. Graser raised his other hand to wipe the tears away. He stopped and cupped my face. It was warm. I pushed my face into his hand and shut my eyes.

"I love you Graser..." I breathed out.

I slowly opened my eyes to look at his face. He gave me a soft smile. I smiled back.

"I love you too Shelby..."

He leaned in closer to me. So did I. We stopped when our lips grazed. Graser looked directly into my eyes and gave a look that sent me over the moon.

"I love you so much Shelby." He whispered, "Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes..." I whispered back.

Tears once more streamed down my face as I closed the gap between us. I could hear my heart beating fast, even Graser's. The gap in my heart was slowly but surely being filled. I wanted to stay with Graser like this forever. Together in each others arms.

Our precious moment was cut short with a sudden grumble. We pulled away and looked at each other in shock. Then another grumble happened and I clutched my stomach. A blush covered my face as I looked away. Laughter boomed into the silent room.  

No way! He's laughing at me!

I was a blushing mess! I wanted to crawl under a rock. Just hide in a dark place. ANYWHERE AWAY FROM THIS EMBARRASSING SITUATION!

The laughter soon died down, but that didn't stop me from blushing. Graser grabbed my hand and placed his other hand under my chin to turn me towards him. An annoying smirk was plastered on his face when I looked.

"I guess you're hungry, huh?" He chuckled.

"Shut up."

"Come on," He stood up, "My princess needs to eat."

My heart!

I blushed once more as I removed my blanket and got up. Our hands were still intertwined as we walked out of the room. Walking out, we saw Liam and Will in the kitchen cooking. Will was the first to notice us.

"Good morning, you two." He said, smiling brightly.

Liam's head popped out and looked straight at me and Graser's hands. He gave us a big smile as he placed down a plate, stacked with waffles, on the counter. He stood beside Will and crossed his arms.

"So... Is there something you would like to tell us?" He asked with a smirk.

Graser and I looked at each other to see who would answer. Which only led us to turn away, a blush crept onto both of our faces. Graser scratched the back of his neck as he spoke.

"Uh well-"

"-Let's just say it's not only in Harmony Hollow." I cut off.

I turned to Graser then to the two who stood in front of us. All giving them a soft smile. Both Will and Liam returned my words with wide, teasing smiles. Graser looked at me and squeezed my hand tighter.

"Yeah... it's not only in Harmony Hollow."
