9- A Stranger Things Fanfiction

I woke up to Nancy knocking on my door and yelling at me to wake up. I groaned.

"C' mon Mike! Time to get up!" Nancy yelled through my door.

I woke up and got changed into the outfit I picked out a few days ago and tried to fix my hair. Today was the first day of school for us. It was also the first time that El would be going to school. She was excited. During the summer we taught her out to speak a little better and now she could be in our conversations. I taught her all about Math, Science, English, and History. Her favorite subject was Science though.

I ran downstairs and grabbed some bacon and eggs. After eating quickly, I heard Dustin yelling for me outside.

"Bye!" I yelled to my family as I walked outside. Dustin, Will, and Lucas were waiting for me outside. I loved getting to ride our bikes together because as much as I liked El and Max in our group, I enjoyed being without them for a little bit.

After our quick ride to the school, we met up with El and Max. They were sitting at a lunch table and talking. After we talked for a bit, it was time to go to homeroom.

El had homeroom with all of us and we showed her around for a bit. The school day went by surprisingly fast for the first day. El enjoyed her first day and we all decided to head back to my house.

We decided to play Dungeons and Dragons. Max was playing with Lucas and El was playing with me. We just started a new campaign that we figured would take 3 hours, but knowing us, it would probably take 7-8 hours.

"We're in deep shit!" Dustin said, slamming his hands on the table as he leaned back. There was a Night Mare, a monster that was extremely strong and hard to defeat. Lucas began to give ideas to WIll on what to do and Dustin countered them.

"I'll throw a fireball." Will finally decided. He had to roll an 18 to make it. The room was silent and filled with tension. The dice stopped rolling and a 10 and 8 were shown. "Yas!" Everyone cheered.

After a few more hours, my mom came down the stairs to say it was time to go. Hopper had come to pick up El. Lucas, Will, Dustin, and Max all rode their bikes back home.

"Bye!" I yelled to Will as he was the last one to leave.

I walked downstairs to clean up after everyone had left. I sat down on the couch and turned on a movie to watch before I went upstairs to sleep.

I heard a knock on the door downstairs. It was probably someone who forgot something. I opened the door and was shocked to see a girl standing there.

She had a black shirt one with a black leather jacket. Her pants were high-waisted jeans and she was wearing black boots. She had long, wavy black hair and looked my age.

"Hello?" I asked, skeptically.

"Hi, do you know where El is?" She asked.

I shook my head.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"I'm Arianna, you can call me Ari. I'm looking for my best friend, Eleven."

I was shocked at her words. Did this mean she was from Hawkins lab, like El? Or was she her friend from before the lab?

"I should probably explain. Can I come in?" She asked. I nodded, not being able to express words.

She came in and sat down on my couch. Mom would probably kill me if she knew I was letting random strangers in our house.

"I'm from the lab, like Eleven. I'm 009." She said, pulling up her jacket to show me her tattoo.

"So if you're from the lab, like El, are you able to move things with your mind too?" I asked.

"No, I can control the elements. Like fire, water, air, and the earth." She explained.

For the next few hours, She explained how she found me and where she was from.

"Have your parents ever talked about having twins?" She asked me.

"No," I replied, confused.

"Well, I'm... your twin sister. I was taken from your, well our, family when I was born, the hospital told our family I died when I was born." She said the entire time she was anxiously paying with the metal ring on her right middle finger.

I was kinda shocked. She was my sister? Holy crap. How? Why didn't Mom or Dad tell me?

I looked at the clock and noticed it was 2 am.

"Can I meet you somewhere tomorrow? Because it's getting late and I have school tomorrow." I asked. She nodded and we planned somewhere to meet.

I went upstairs, careful not to wake my dad who was asleep in the recliner in the living room and slipped into my bed.

So much was on my mind, Ari was my sister, and she was El's best friend.
