A/N: And... here starts the shit show. I really hope you all don't hate me after this 🤦🏼♀️
"Alright let's get the other cars in. We'll park 'em in the west entry of the yard." Rick said to T-Dog, Carol (who was driving one of the cars in) and I, who were the only ones on 'make the house pretty' duty today. Riley was still in bed, tired after all of yesterday's excitement and... uh activity... later that night, and Merle still hadn't been cleared for duty by Hershel, but I had a clue where Maggie and Glenn were. They were supposed to be helping us, but they were running late.
"Good. Our vehicles camped out there look like a giant 'vacancy' sign." I grunted, pointing over to the west side so Carol knew where to drive to.
"After that, we need to load up these corpses so we can burn them. We did good about getting them all into one spot for the wedding, but I'd rather get them out of here." Rick continued, glancing at the pile that we had discreetly hidden behind one of the guard towers so Riley wouldn't see them yesterday.
"It's gonna be a long day..." T-Dog said grumpily, moving to go towards the next car, but Carol's voice stopped him.
"Where's Glenn and Maggie? We could use some help."
"Up in the guard tower." I said with a smirk, pointing up at the guard tower I knew they were in.
"Guard tower? They were up there all night!" Rick complained, rolling his eyes, but I got it, I mean, he wasn't getting any, other wise he'd not care.
"Glenn! Maggie!" I hollered, glancing up at the tower, to see Glenn come out, with no shirt on, and buttoning his pants frantically.
"Hey! What's up guys?" He said awkwardly, shaking out his hair. The others started to laugh, so I answered.
"You comin'?" I didn't realize what I said, until I said it, but Glenn did, and his face flushed bright red.
"What?" Everyone was hollering with laughter now, but I just kept on.
"You comin'? Come on, we could use a hand!"
"Yeah, we'll be right down!" Glenn said, darting back into the tower, and I turned back to the others, who were still laughing, and I finally joined them, laughing as we moved towards the cars, until T-Dog saw something, and called for Rick.
"Hey, Rick!" We glanced back, and saw T-Dog pointing up towards the prison, and when I looked, I could see Axel and Oscar out of their cell block, walking towards us.
"Come with me." Rick grumbled to us, and we immediately flanked him, moving to intercept the prisoners before they could get too far.
"That's close enough. We had an agreement." Rick said angrily, and I couldn't help but worry about what would have happened if they had gotten into the cell block, where Riley, Hershel, and the kids were.
