(Yes I'm alive. I took a break. I'm going to finish this story if its the last thing I do.)

Your pov:

I stand on the staircase, not knowing what to do. I just stare at him, like the rest of the world has disappeared. I stand there for ten minutes, but it felt like a life time. He glances in my direction and sees me, a smirk tugs at his face. He walks over to me and puts a hand on my shoulder. I then snap out of my trance like state.

"Well, well, well.. seems like you just came crawling back, my little kitten." Deceit says, gripping my shoulder even tighter.

"Well, I never knew a psycho like you would ever show his face again." I argue, trying to process everything. I look around the room, virgil angrier than angry, roman is shocked, logan is intrigued, patton is crying, and thomas is probably sleeping.

"You know him!?" Roman finally breaks the silence. I explained my side of the story, but then deceit says something unexpected. "I didn't torture you gem, I simply was testing you integrity. So I could introduce you, to my colleagues. I only moved, because they wanted me back." Deceit looked at me, I wanted to believe him. I wanted to run into his arms again, have all the weight be lifted off my shoulders. But, this wasn't the deceit I met back there, this was someone different.

"Why did you change.." I ask, fighting off my tears. Deceit sighs, "I may not  be the same.. but.." before deceit could finish, virgil charged deceit, hurting me in the process. Deceit saw me, injured. And a new kind of rage filled his eyes, the kind I hadn't seen in a while, he never changed. I did.

Everything was engulfed in a yellow flame, I weakly got up and I saw two paths, the left leading to the Park me and deceit loved to go to, the right leading to a hellish landscape of tears, and anger. I ran as fast as i could along the left path, I just wanted to go back. To when everything was ok, no pain, no suffering. Just me and him. I couldn't take the reality that the people I thought were my friends, were monsters.

As soon as I reached the end, I was in deceits arms, sinking back down to paradise. The last thing I said, "I'd rather live on fires edge." Then deceit and I escaped the monsters, at least for now.

I looked at the familiar sign, it read.
