"I will never forget"

That was Zak's last thought before walking back to his home. When he walked in the door, he was greeted by his so-called girlfriend.

~Zak's POV~

"That's what you get for going against your father's word" She snickers at me.

She's so annoying, why do my parents want me to date her? I hate her with a burning passion.

"You don't need that boy, he just gets in the way of us all the time I can't believe you even call him a friend"

I can't take her anymore. I turn around and slap her in the face. Not the best move, since my father was standing right there.

"UGH IT'S NOT MY FAULT YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH HIM" She snaps back at me

My face turns red. "How does she know?" I think, right before my father comes over to me and pulls me by the ear into the other room.

"I'm disappointed in you, Zak. We have a soulmate chosen out for you, you should consider yourself lucky." My father says, angry about my actions.

"What if I don't want her as a soulmate? She's so annoying can't you see?" I say, pointing at her from the other room.

"All I see is your future wife. You have to marry her, you have no choice. What would your great grandfather think of you?"

"I don't care what my great grandfather thinks! He's the one that dragged us into this shit!" I say, running out of the room and up the stairs. I make it to my bedroom and slammed the door shut.

"I hate my family. I hate everything" I think, sinking to the floor, sitting against my bedroom wall.I want to run away. I want to get away from this place forever. The only problem is, if I do, I'll never see my best friend ever again.
