GARDENIA
"a gardenia is the perfect flower to convey emotions. It says 'you're lovely' and represents a secret love, untold love, and joy."

Harry felt a flood of relief flow through him that morning; Neville had walked through the front door of the shop, looking as cheerful as anyone could possibly be. Harry was absolutely overjoyed to see him, even if he had gotten a bit upset over more overwatered cactuses. The store just didn't feel the same without his presence."Harry, thanks again for helping me!" Neville gestured around the shop, "I don't know what I would do without you! This place would probably rot with Ron in charge of it."
Harry smiled at his friend, "I'm always happy to help, Neville."
Harry finished counting the rest of the cash in the register and sat it in a neat pile on the side. "Besides, the customers aren't all that bad."
"Oh, really? Who's the lucky person?" Neville asked with a smile tugging at his lips. "Anyone that I might know?"
Harry felt his cheeks redden slightly, and he ran a hand through his hair, "Maybe? He said he knew you. He should be here today, you can meet him then."
"I look forward to it," Neville said, winking at the brunet. "Harry, would you bring me a crate of gardenias from the back?"
Harry was already off of his stool before he even finished his sentence, "Of course!"
He walked around the small store, and into the back room where all the flowers that weren't on the floor yet were kept and stored. He searched through the different flower boxes that were laid out, searching for the flowers Neville needed.
'Those are the pink ones, right?' Harry wondered in his head, 'Or are they the white ones?'
He heard the familiar chime of the front door opening, and immediately his heart leaped into his throat. Harry smiled, picking up the crate of white flowers, and rushed to meet Draco, praying that they were the right ones.
When he reached the main room again, he was met with the sight of the gorgeous blond hugging his best friend, grins visible on both of their faces.
"Harry!" Neville called, letting Draco free of his grip. "Come meet my roommate!"
Harry furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, glancing back and forth between Neville and Draco, "Your roommate?" He repeated.
"I told you I know Neville, grumpy," Draco smirked, walking over and wrapping an arm around Harry's waist, "Did you really think Neville would leave you in charge and unsupervised while he was away?"
"You're unbelievable!" Harry exclaimed, not knowing how to feel.
Draco laughed, then turned to Neville with his hand still rested on the brunet's side. "Are these the ones that I requested?"
"They weren't easy to find, but for you, of course!" Neville replied excitedly, smiling at the sight of the two boys in front of him.
"I definitely owe you one," Draco then took the hand that was around the brunet's waist, reached over and plucked a single white flower from the crate that Harry was carrying.
"I'm not going to tell you what this one means because I'm afraid it would give away too much," Draco glanced up at the other boy, grey eyes gazing into green."But, just know that one of the things it means is simply, 'you're lovely' and I don't think I have agreed on anything more."
Harry felt his cheeks redden as they always did when the other spoke, and he carefully set the crate of flowers down. He then glanced at the staring blond, and carefully picked up the beautiful flower offered to him.
"You're too good to me."
Draco shook his head, smiling at the small flower grasped in the brunet's right hand, "No, Harry. Not nearly good enough."
