Hinata continued to think. He thought about middle school with his match against Kageyama. He was so intimidating he almost wanted to kill him.
Yeah that's a statement he wanted to avoid.
He continued to drink his water before an urge to do something fun tugged away at his patience. It was wearing thin but he told himself to wait, to think about who's suspicious and to look for a target on the way home.
First there was Sugawara. He was acting a bit... odd and anxious but that was after he went to talk with Kageyama, right? The day he left to care for his grandfather.
'I didn't kill anyone that day and I made sure I didn't have anything that would make me a suspect.'
So maybe he was suspecting Kageyama did something wrong? But why him? What did he do? Say even?
However the second one was Kageyama. He had grim features and a menacing aura, he even lied about liking, no correction, loving someone.
'Yeah that's believable.'
No one else seemed to have been acting weird so Hinata left it at those two.
'But what about mother?'
His grip on his water bottle tightened.
'Mother is fine. She would never find out.' His counterpart thought differently.
'But what if she did?' His mind went blank, then pictured the man who brought him into this mess.
'She never found out about father.'
~~~"106," he muttered to himself as he walked in front of a door with 106 engraved in it. "Here goes nothing..."
Knocking on the door twice, Kageyama waited. And waited. And waited. Before his target opened the door and greeted him with a smile.
"Kyle! Nice seeing you again! How's it going?" The assassin thought how peculiar it was for the target to act as if it had been so long. "Wanna come in?" Kageyama put on a warm smile and nodded.
"If you don't mind." James, shook his head.
"Don't be so formal man, it's fine!" He pat his back and allowed him in. He noticed a gift in him hand and question to him about it.
"Oh this?" He put his focus on the gift. "It's a thank you gift, for helping me out."
Really it was just a bomb but who cared, no one was going to get hurt besides the target.
'Who books an entire hotel anyway? I guess he was generous enough to give one up and lend it to me.'
Or it's a trap, he thought.
But he was prepared, he left everything in another place so he was set.
"Really? A gift for me?" James looked surprised and then ushered him to the living room, Kageyama giving the gift to him. James gave him a look and asked if he could open it.
"Of course!" He gave a smile and faked a sweet voice. James unwrapped the gift and inside was a beautiful vase, it's sole purpose was really for decorating the table.
And blowing him up, but that was a different story.
"Wow!" He seemed fascinated and put it on the table. "Where did you get this?" Kageyama scratched his head in embarrassment.
"My family owns a pottery shop and my job here in America was to sell them but I'm sure I could spare one." He lied. Really he just added a decent sized bomb and covered it in clay.
