Brooke Lynn's POV:

The sunlight is warm on my face. I smile into it. What time is it? I want to look but don't want to open my eyes. I'm so tired. The baby woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn't get him back to sleep right away. I continue to lay there with my eyes closed. I feel the bed shift and there's a light tickling sensation as a pair of lips graze my neck. I let out a soft sigh and opened my eyes to my tan beauty next to me. Vanessa's dark skin was glowing in the morning sun.

"Good morning." Vanessa mumbled against my neck. Her hands roamed my torso and she tugged at my shirt.

A smile crept across my lips. "Good morning, indeed."

I pushed Vanessa on her back and straddled her hips. I brought her hands to the bottom of my shirt and let go with a wink. In seconds, my top was bare, and Vanessa's hands were all over me.

"You're beautiful." She said, and my face flushed.

After 6 years together, she still had a way of making me feel shy. I leaned down and pressed a kiss above her left eyebrow, then her right eyebrow, then the tip of her nose, and then I pulled back.

"You stopped." Vanessa pouted.

I rolled my eyes, leaned down and pressed a kiss to her lips. She drags her nails up my back, sending shivers down my spine. She flicked her tongue along my bottom lip and I slightly parted my lips. Our tongues started to dance against the other, and I felt the corners of her mouth turn upwards. Vanessa flipped us over and now she was straddling my hips. She pulled her shirt over her head and my hands were instantly on her sides, running up and down against her smooth skin. I hooked my fingers in the waistband of her shorts and started to tug them down. Suddenly, a cry rang out through the room. I looked over at the baby monitor on the bedside table, groaning.

"Someone's awake." Vanessa grumbled.

"I got it." I sat up, checking the clock. 7am. What the fuck? Why can't this child sleep in?

I threw on my shirt and made my way down the hall.

"Hey, big guy." I said, walking into the spare-room-turned-nursery.

Tears were streaming down Graycen's face and his little cheeks were red. I scooped him up and bounced him a little bit. I changed his diaper and Vanessa walked in after a few minutes with a fresh bottle for him. After laying him back down, walking out the door and closing it quietly, he started to cry again. I sighed.

"Sorry babe, I think he's up for good now." Vanessa nodded and I walked in the room.

We decided to bring Graycen to our bed, that way we could all relax. Graycen laid in between us, feet up and examining his toes. I looked at Vanessa. She was looking at my baby brother with the softest eyes. I loved watching her with him. Vanessa loved children. I can't wait to see her as a mother.

"Babe." I said. She hummed softly in response, eyes still on the baby, "we should have a baby."
