Arc 1: Chapter Thirteen

Arc 1: Chapter Thirteen:

That you were in my heart, you were in my head
Now you're waking up here in my bed

Oh, I've just been watching-

"You sound amazing." And Lucy jumps in surprise. "Oh...it's just you." She answers, still slightly surprised, and embarrassed that he heard her singing.

"I've known you forever, and I'm now just finding out you can sing?" He questions. "Some things are left hidden," Lucy shrugs.

"Anyway, I tried to make something. I would've had Luke try it but I don't want him to die...so here you go." She says, shoving the spoon into Natsu's mouth before he could say anything. Natsu immediately throws it up afterwards.

"What was that?" Asks Natsu, going to get a drink of water. Lucy pouts. "It was spaghetti but now I'm gonna throw it out." Says Lucy.

"How about we both try to make something." Says Natsu followed by a laugh.

After making some salmon tacos and eating with their family, Luke was asleep on their lap, while watching a random movie. Lucy was snuggled up on Natsu's chest, and Natsu had his arm draped around her shoulders. Luke lay comfortably laid across both his parents.

"I have a business trip soon," Natsu Says all of a sudden, and Lucy groans since the mood was suddenly changed the mood. "When? And where?" She groans.

"In two days, I'll be going to Paris, and staying for a week,"

"Paris...and for a week...take me!" Lucy Whines as she wraps her arms around him.

"I wish I could but, I'd barely have any time to even be with you. I'll be at business meetings everyday." Lucy groans. "Okay, okay...maybe I should take Luke on a trip..." ponders Lucy.

"What? Without me?" And Lucy nods.

"You'll be in Paris, and since we barely bring him on any trips with us I can take him to Barbados at a water park or something." Says Lucy, pulling out her phone to go ahead and start planning the trip.

"Now your making me jealous," says Natsu wrapping his arms around her.

"Don't be, you can take me to Paris whenever you want once your back." Says Lucy leaning into his touch.

They stay there for a few minutes before Lucy wiggles out of his gold. "Get up you weirdo, we need to start packing if we're gonna be gone for so long, also remind me to get Luke a new nanny. She quit."

"Another one?" Natsu sighs.

"Yeah...I didn't think our son was that bad. And he's only three."

"True, I'll look into it soon."

Lucy sat at the airport with Luke in her arms, she was seeing her husband off since his flight left before hers.

"Have a safe flight dad!" Says Luke, waving to him.

Natsu kisses his son on the forehead. "You too, don't cause too much trouble for your mom."

"I love you, be safe." Says Lucy kissing him for a good ten seconds before pulling away.

"You too," Says Natsu before going on to catch his flight.

"Are we taking the private jet Mommy?"

"Yeah, daddy insisted on it since he wanted us safe." Says Lucy, as they started to head towards their flight, even though they could leave whenever.

"Are you excited? This'll be our first trip together!" Says Lucy with a smile. Luke then proceeds to rant on and on about what he was going to do. I can't get over how cute this boy is. She thinks to herself as she arrive on the flight.

"Nice to see you again, Mrs Heart- Ah I forgot, its Mrs. Dragneel now."

Lucy smiles at the pilot. "It's nice to see you again, and I still haven't taken it all in that I'm a Dragneel yet either." Says Lucy as she buckles Luke into his seat before proceeding to give him his IPad and a juice box. She then pulled out her laptop and got to writing.
