Arc 2: Chapter Three

Both got reasons, yeah-yeah
"Flowers for my beautiful wife. Along with ice cream." Natsu adds the last part and Lucy rolls her eyes. They had moved back to New York a month ago and Lucy had bought a small apartment since it was just her and Luke. Everyday Natsu would do something sweet for her, including flirting.
"We're not together at the moment." Lucy says, although she was smiling.
"But on document, your still my wife." Says Natsu winking and Lucy rolls her eyes, letting him inside.
"Luke's asleep so you can cook."
"You still don't know how?" Natsu asks her. "I've tried...no luck. I guess it's a Heartfilia thing. My mom and Anna can't cook either."
Natsu sighs and grabs everything he needs and Lucy decides to wake her son up.
"Luke...your dads here and breakfast is almost ready." And at the words breakfast Luke wakes up immediately. Luke runs downstairs and Lucy follows after him slowly.
She smiles as she sees Luke hugging his leg, and they all sit down at the table.
After finishing their meal Luke was off to school and Natsu was going to accompany Lucy to an doctors appointment.
After Luke left Lucy got ready, up stairs in her own room much to Natsu's displeasure, and she headed down about an hour later.
"Your...five months right?" Natsu asks as they head into the hospital.
"Yup! Which means, I can find out the gender."
"Me and Luke have already told you it's a girl." Lucy rolls her eyes. "Too bad neither of you are doctors." She Says. After signing in, the doctor called Lucy's name, and after the doctor checked all of her symptoms they were going to find out the gender.
"There's your baby," says the nurse, it's heartbeat was already heard throughout the room. "And from the looks of it, it's a girl." She adds.
"And Who was right?" Natsu turns towards Lucy. "Haha, yeah funny. You and Luke were good guessers."
After that The appointment was over, and Natsu would be heading to work after dropping Lucy off. "Hey Luce?"
"Yeah?"
"Lets go to dinner tonight." Natsu says. This was probably the one hundredth time he's told her this.
"Fine. But only because I'm in a good mood today." Lucy says, even though she secretly close to forgiving him...actually she wanted to forgive him.
"Great, see you at seven Luce!" Says Natsu, getting excited and Lucy can't help but smile as his demeanor changes.
"See you then Natsu," She Says.

*Around 8-ish*
After dinner, Natsu and Lucy both decided on a walk in the park, and since Lucy was craving hot tamales Natsu had bought her some. (Y'know, the hot tamales candy)
"Natsu," Lucy starts.
"Your...completely telling the truth about what happened with Touka right?" She Asks.
"Of course Luce. I can't lie to you. I'm not even in contact with her anymore. The only person who watches Luke when I'm at work is Levy."
Lucy stays quiet, just humming in response.
"Well," She says turning towards him. "I've been thinking lately...and I forgive you. I wanna be with you again, live with you, have Luke see you every single day. I want our family back together." Says Lucy.
"I'd love that more than anything Luce," Says Natsu, and they embrace each-other in a warm embrace.
"Can I move back in completely...and sleep with you tonight. I forgot how warm you are." She murmurs in his chest but he hears anyway.
"Of course," says Natsu.
And for a short time, they were a family again.
