SUNEO THE POOR CHILD - CHAPTER 4

Saturday.

Suneo's birthday has arrived.

Suneo, the host of his birthday party, greeted the guests excitedly. "Welcome! Welcome everyone, to my humble home!" he shouted.

Nobita, Giant, Shizuka, Chibiusa and Hotaru walked inside the dining room, decorated with paper flowers, balloons, colorful steamers and banners.

"Whoaa..." They all can't help but feeling excited and awe.

"Come on everyone, please sit down, don't be shy," Mrs. Honekawa and the family pet, Chiruchiru, slides away as they brought their guests to the dining table.

"As you can see, there's a lot of dishes from overseas that you guys obviously haven't try," Mrs. Honekawa showcased the dishes.

"Oooh..." They all looked at every single dishes excitedly.

At the table, turkey legs, chili crab, honey-glazed ham, potato salad, foie gras, and many others, were placed neatly on the table, all cooked and presented to perfection.

"All of these dishes looks delicious, ma'am," Hotaru said to Mrs. Honekawa politely.

"Well, anything for my precious Suneo, ohohohohoho..." she replied with pride.

'Yet I have eaten most of them,' Hotaru internally thought.

"Hey, Suneo. What's this?" Giant picked up a piece of large turkey leg.

"Well, that's..." Suneo opened his mouth.

"That's a turkey leg, imported all the way from the USA," Mrs. Honekawa interrupted him.

'Wow... rude much?' Chibiusa muttered internally.

"Mom... please, just let me explain it to them," Suneo whined while gently pushing her and the cat away. His mom and Chiruchiru pouted a little, but Suneo gave them his charming smile, with them smiling back in tow.

"I love you, Mom," Suneo said affectionately.

"I love you, too," she replied while picking up Chiruchiru from the floor.

"Alright everyone! Dig in! Don't be shy, just eat a lot! They're all delicious!" She said as she left the room.

"Don't worry, Ma'am! We will!" Chibiusa called out as Mrs. Honekawa closed the door.

Hotaru raised her glass of orange juice. "I'd like to propose a toast to Suneo. May he flourished with happiness and longevity. Happy birthday Suneo, and saluté."

"Salute? What's that?" Nobita asked, confused.

"It's how Italians said, toast," Suneo explained.

"That's sounds cool!" Giant exclaimed, followed by Shizuka and Chibiusa nodding.

"Saluté! Happy birthday, Suneo!" They all shouted while raising their glasses.

"Thank you! Thank you! And by the way, these are Valencia oranges, from California, USA! Ahahahahahaha! Everything's the best quality!"

'I can see that, you know?' Hotaru sarcastically muttered inside, rolling her eyes as she picked up a few slices of ham and truffled mashed potatoes.

"Alright, time to eat!" Giant bellowed as he picked two large pieces of turkey legs, before devouring them like a hooligan he is.

Everyone then help themselves with the dishes, exclaiming delicious here and there.

"Oh wait! You guys must have forgetting something! I wonder what it is..." Suneo suddenly exclaimed.

"Oh yeah, we forgot to gave you your birthday present," Shizuka realized.

"Nobita, you're up first!" Giant commands.

"Me first?" Nobita was confused.

"Why not you?" Hotaru asked back.

"Better safe the best for the last," Giant proudly boasts.

"Sure..." Hotaru replied with a hint of mock tone.

"Just go ahead, Nobita-san," Shizuka encouraged Nobita.

"Yeah. I wonder what kind of present you're going to give him," Chibiusa nodded, adding her support.

Nobita nodded. "Alright."
