Chapter 14

Min's POV

Min looked up and everyone was staring at her son. There was some shocked looks on some of their faces as they whispered among each other. Queen Lori Leeni cleared her voiced and the room was quiet.

"No one is to breath a word of this. In ordered for this not to get out of hand everyone is confined to this room. There will be consequences to pay if you disobey!" She ordered and warned them. Everyone eyes were widen as they nodded there head in understanding. Min weakly moved to sit up and paused. It was quiet. The castle wasn't shaken any more and they were no screams or gun shots, swords or laser blasting anywhere. It was an eerie quietness which made her uncomfortable. She moved her son to her other arm. She looked down at her son who looked up at her with brown hazel eyes that sparkle with tiny gold stars swirling around.

"Adien..." Min whispered. Doctor Lee came to take her son to check him out. Then Min strength returned and she wasn't feeling weak any more. She slide off the bed.

"Whoa! Where do you think your going?" Wei Lin stopped her.

"I'm feel great. We need to see what is going on outside! Kav have not returned. It is too quiet. Something seems wrong." Min stated as she try to get pass her mother but Pei Qui stopped her in her track. She signal her to be silence. There was a heavy thump sound against the door. Everyone froze and look towards the door. They heard it again. The other girls slide off their bed slowly as they hobble towards the back of the room. The thumping was much stronger this time and a cracked appeared on the door.

"Time to leave!" Morisa whispered to everyone.

She pointed towards the back of the room. Mei Jin finally woke up and jumped out of the bed. She had her weapons out and was ready to attack. Estreia and Lyria was armed and ready. They heard another crack from the door. Some of the girls yell but covered their mouth when they notices the look Queen Lori Leeni was giving them.

"There's no where to hide I will get what I need!" Prince Dieon yelled from behind the door. Min was angry and took a step towards the door but Pei Qui and Wei Lin stopped her.

"You just had a baby! We will deal with him another day but today is not the day!" Wei Lin whispered fiercely knocking some sense into her head.

They quickly hustled to the other side of the clinic. Pei Qui stopped them before they open the door. He slowly opened the door and checked the hall. It was cleared and he stepped out and the rest of them follow after him. Just then they heard the cracking of the door as ran into the ruin halls of the castle. Pei Qui made sure to barricade the door before catching up with the rest of them. They watched their steps as the climbed over rubbles and debris were scattered everywhere. Min tried to pin point where Princess Kavaya was but couldn't focus with all the noise that going on around them. They heard another crashed as Prince Deion came bursting out of the clinic room. How did he get pass those guards that was posted in front of the door. Min broke away from Pei Qui and Wei Lin. The weapon in her hand reactivated and she formed a barrier between her and them.

"Min! What are you doing?!" Wei Lin yelled in alarmed. "Mei!"

Mei Jin managed to slip pass her before she put the barrier up.

"Get my baby and nephew to safety! I will take care of this right now." Min eyes were fired now She looked at Pei Qui. Wei Lin eyes change color to the same color Min have but with silver stars in the center. She marched over the barrier and was about to touch it but Queen Lori Leeni  stopped her.

"Zhè tài fēngkuángle! Nǐ shēntǐ bù hǎo háishì yǒu tiáojiàn dǎjià! Yóuqí shì nǐ, měi jìng fāng! Nǐ gānggāng shòule zhòngshāng. (This is crazy! You are in no shape or condition to fight! Especially you, Mei Jin Fong! You just got hurt pretty badly!)" Wei Lin sound like she just lost her children. She was on the verge of crying.
