Chapter 25

Perceus' POV

It has been three days with no clue to where his parents vanish to. No sign of Kavaya and Clive. His other sister was still missing and his mind is in shambles. Min was unconscious for three days. He couldn't even find his grandparents. He refused to let the council members into the palace or any of the workers. He dismissed a lot of people that were working within the palace. Jafar came to the palace throne room.

"Perceus, what are you going to do? We searched the entire kingdom and we cannot find them. What do you want us to do?" He asked him. Perceus looked at him with tears on his face.

"Right now, I don't know what to do. I'm at a lost right now. What should I do?" Perceus sounded pitiful.

"You need to pull yourself together. You need work with your wife. This is something you have to do on your own." Jafar commanded him.

"You are a king and need to act like one." Perceus glared at him and stood up.

"What did you just said?" Perceus commanded.

"You heard me. This is not you. Where is my king?" Jafar stood his ground. Perceus walked up to him. They stared each other down until they started laughing. They patted each other on the back.

"Thank you. I need that."

"That what friends are for." Jafar replied.

"Well, not all friends are not good. Have to be careful who to trust." Preceus explained.

"Well, put my friend. There many things we do not understand about our ancestors."

"You are right. I have an idea but I hope that Min doesn't kill me when she wakes up." Perceus agreeing with Jafar.

"Go get your girl." Jafar said. Preceus quickly ran out of the throne room and went to their bed room. He threw opened the door and found Rose sitting beside Min weeping.

"Rose, stop crying. What are you doing? I thought I said for no one to be in here!"

"Sire, you can yell at me all you want but I refuse to leave her side." Rose sternly said without looking at him. He was quiet for a minute before he spoke.

"You are bold or being stupid." he growled.

"You're threats don't scare me." She stood up slow and face him.

"It's your fault that she is in this state." She pointed at him.

"Now wait a minute-"

"I don't even know where Kav is. A-and the baby? the baby-we have no leads!"

"Back off-" he growled at her but she step up to his face.

"No you listen here and listen clear you better make some changes before Council Mayhem make his move. You know we can't stand against him but Min can." Rose demanded. He put his hands up.

"Look, she will be find. I want you to do something for me. Gather Kav and Min other friends to help you. Take this paper and read it when you all are together. When you find them, go to the east garden of the castle." He grabbed her hands and put a piece a paper in her hands. Rose looked down and look back at the King. She understood and quickly left the room closing the door behind them. He walked over to the bed and lay down beside his wife and pulled her body towards him. She felt lifeless. He put his forehead towards her.

"Baby.... Listen. We are in this together." Then he kissed her on the lips softly. She was still in his arms until she started moving. he deepen the kiss. He pulled back and she opened her eyes slowly. she looked him in the eyes.
