Chapter 24

Min's POV

Min was standing next to Perceus with a huge fake smile on her face as they greet people. People were cheering and calling out their name. They took to the streets and danced after Perceus has been crowned King. Viva Star was near them by the stage with a stiff smile on her as she congratulated them as they passed by her. Min paid no attention to her. She was upset. Perceus tried to grab her hand but she quickly slap it away.

"Honey...we have to look like a happy couple." He seethed through his teeth leaning closer to her so she could hear. He smiled and waved at the people.

"I am happy! Can't you see." She responded in the same fashion without looking at him.

"Over here!" The photographer shouted. They turned his way.

"Oh! Hold it there! That's a shot!" They smiled. They had to stop for a quick interview as many people were screaming their head off like they were in a concert. They turned away and walked stiffly back to the entrance of the castle.

"Oh My Gosh! KING PERCEUS! I LOVE YOU!"

"QUEEN MIN! MAKE ME YOUR MAID! I'LL DO ANYTHING FOR YOU!" They past the screaming fans. Min and Perceus slightly looked at them as they passed them by.

"Oh my word! They looked our way!" One girl said before she fainted in her friends' hands. Min frowned.

"Seriously!" She whispered. They eyebrow raised as they continue on their way. The moment they walked inside away from the public eyes, their smile dropped. They glared at their parents.

"What?" They asked holding their breath. They look down at their outfits and looked at each other each other then back at their parents.

"It wasn't my idea....(clearing his throat) I thought it was hideous and wanted to get rid of it." King Moorse bursted out laughing pointing at their outfit.

"But, honey you told me that it was part of tradition!" The Queen playfully hit the King as she tried to hold her laugh. They made them wear an outfit that came out of a clown's closet. It was hideous.

"You think this is funny!?" Min shrieked. She couldn't move properly and almost fail but Perceus caught her or tried to catch her. They both went tumbling down together. The palace maids rushed to aid them. They struggled to get them off the floor. They managed to stand up.

"Get me out of this ridiculous clothes!" Min shouted wobbling to the bedroom with Perceus right after her.

After a couple of hours they finally gotten out of the ridiculous outfit to normal wear. They met with everyone at the portal gate that lead them back to Antiqua Bay Kingdom. The elders were waiting for them with the council members. Queen Wei Lin hugged her daughter and grand child. Her father gave her a pep talk. He decided  to give up his position in China and stay with her mother. Mei Jin was about to go with them but their father signaled their brother to dragged her back to the castle.

"Listen. You need to be on guard. You need to help King Perceus restore the kingdom. Keep an eye out for Viva. She more dangerous then you think. Look at what kind of father she have." Her father warned her. She nodded her head and stepped out of his embrace. They all said they goodbye before walking through the portal.

Back in the new Kingdom of Antiqua Bay, everything seem to be back to normal with a little few things that was out of the ordinary. They headed towards the palace while everyone cheered as the walked by. Once they were inside the newly built palace. They didn't let the council members and citizens into the palace grounds. There were more security and they had an issue they had to deal with. Alexia, Darcy, and Melissa came back with Min. They were allowed to enter the palace which upset the council members. They were not too keen with this new policy that were being implemented by the new King. Min handed Adien to Rose who went to the nursery.
