I never really believed in an afterlife, but I guess that's okay.
"Alfred, love, where did you go?"
I grin into the reflection of the water. I'm sitting by a pond in this alternate dimension, which is where you go when you die. The amount of purity your soul has determines what dimension you can enter, which is where the beliefs of heaven and hell stemmed from.
Leaning over to look behind the tree I'm sitting against, I see the love of my life standing on the back porch of our house, calling for me with a worried look. With a grin, I easily push up from my spot in the shade of the cherry blossom tree and rush over to him. He looks surprised to see me when I leap over the wooden railing. The amazing thing about this dimension is that you can do whatever you want, and when you die in this one (because you still age here) you are born again in the original dimension.
"Hey, babe," I greet happily, wrapping my arms around his slender waist. Ever since I've been able to touch him, I can't help myself but constantly hold him close to me.
"'Ello, love," he returns, greeting me with a small peck on the lips. It makes me grin, the small sign of affection.
"So, what's up, hun?" I ask, nuzzling into his neck lovingly. Oh, he is so warm and soft. I love hugging him. Plus, seeing him in bed isn't so bad either, if you konw what I mean.
"I wanted to ask you what you wanted to do tomorrow," the Brit tells me, blushing heavily when I grin at him.
"I don't really care. You should decide," I return, kissing his forehead and succeeding in making his blush a brighter red.
"B-But I want to do what you want to do," he whines, clutching at my hands with the cutest pout ever painted on his face. My god, he is such a tsundere.
I grin, and kiss his cheek, trying to convey all my love for him with a single gesture. "I don't care what we do, as long as I get to do it with you."
He stays quiet for a few moments, before a small smile graces his lips.
"You really are a dork, Alfred."
"Love you too, Artie."
