Who's gonna' stop us

Chapter 2: Why Not

         After I had told my mom that I liked Mike I felt a weight falling of my shoulders, I felt free. I was glad that i told my mom she was always understanding and she would never judge me. That day at school I was more happy than usual, I wanted to tell Mike even though he might not like me back. Sitting next to mike gave me butterflies in my stomach, he was adorable.

M "hey will, we are going to play D&D today at my house after school, Ok?"

W "yeah, sounds fun"

M "cool"

      I dont know why but I was nervous to talk to him.

       "Riiiiing". The bell rung and I'm heading to my bike to head to Mike's house. I got to Mike's house Dustin and lucas were already there.

W "hey Mrs. Wheeler"

MW "hey, the boys are downs stairs"

W "cool, thanks"

       I head down stairs and mike was setting up D&D.

W "hey guys"

M "hey will"

D "what took you so long?"

W "I dont know, I guess I'm a slow biker"

L "well let's play"

      We all began to play and we were having fun until it started to sprinkle. Lucas and Dustin decided to head home but I needed to finish the game. The rain got worse and worse, lighting lit the house and thunder shook it. We finished the round, I head upstairs to head home.

MW "you cant head home in this weather"

W "I'll be fine"

MW "why dont you spend the night here"

W "ok, if that's fine with you"

MW "of course it is, I will call your mother and let her know"

W "ok, thanks"

I head down stairs, Mike was putting away the game.

M "oh, hey will I thought you were leaving"

W "I was, until your mom stoped me, she didn't want me going through that storm so she told me I could spend the night here tonight, is that cool with you mike"

M "yeah sounds fun"

         Mike puts A movie on TV and we watch it together. Until I soon remember that I dont have Pajamas with me.

W "mike?"

M "yeah?"

W "I dont have any Pajamas, I didn't know I was going to spend the night"

M "thats ok you can borrow a pair of mine"

W "ok, thanks"

       It was getting late Mike throws a pair of pajamas at me and I head to the bathroom and put them on. They where a little big on me but I dont mind. It felt weird wearing my crushes Pajamas. I head to Mike's room "you look good" mike says to me . I blush and say thanks. Mike hands me a sleeping bag I get it ready for bed. We both slip in our beds and get ready for night, but I wasn't quite ready to go to sleep.

W "Mike?"

M "yeah?"

W "can I tell you something"

M "yeah, what is it?"

W "you will still be my freind right?"

M "of course I will"

W "ok, I.. i... I like you"

M "yeah and I like you too, were freinds"

W "like alot"

M "oh."

W "yeah"

M "will?"

W "yeah"

M "I like you too"

W "you do?"

M "yes, I cant believe you love me back"

W "I cant believe you love me back!!"

M "come up here Will"

    I hop on Mike's bed and slip under the covers and hug mike he hugs me back.

W "dont you think people are gonna make fun of us"

M "yeah well, who's gonna' stop us"

W "i love you"

M "I love you too"

W "good night handsome"

M "good night"

I went to bed knowing I'm the luckiest guy alive.
