Chapter 3: The Date

          After that night I spent at Mike's we have been together more and we are talking to each other more. I was at school and mike tells me to meet him behind the school, after school. I go there and see mike waiting for me.

W "hey Mike"

M "hey Will, so I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me?"

W "A date?"

M "yeah, I mean we both like each other so why not?"

W "yeah sure"

M "ok meet me at the icecream parlor Tomorrow at 8 we can eat icecream than head to the movie theater."

W "ok, sounds like a date!"

       We than hop on our bikes and head home

M "see yah"

W "bye"

         I go home with a smile on my face. I open the door and see my mom"

J "hey will"

W "hey mom"

J "why are you so happy"

W "I have a date"

J "oooo"

W "mom!"

J "who are going with"

W "Mike"

J "so you told him you like him?"

W "yep"

J "will, I'm so proud of you"

       My mom hugs me and runs my hair "mom" I complain. She let's me go and I go to my room. I couldn't stop think about Mike so I decided to draw a picture for him. I drew a picture of us holding hands waching the sunset. I'm going to give him that tomorrow on our date.

The next day finally comes around and I head to school. I go to class and see mike there with dustin and lucas.

M "ready for tonight"

W "yeah I am" i say with a smile on my face.

L "what do you mean"

D "yeah what are you two up to"

M "oh, nothing"

W "yeah, nothing"

        Dustin and lucas are starting to get suspicious.

       7:30 finally rolls around and I hop on my bike and head to the parlor. Meet Mike at a table waiting for me.

M "hey Will"

W "hey mike"

M "ready to get icecream?"

W "yeah"

M "I'll have a chocolate waffle cone please"

W "I'll have the same"

      We sit at a table and start eating.

M "you look so cute when you eat icecream"

       That made me blush.

W "I made you something"

M "you did?"

W "yeah" I hand the drawing to him.

M "aw thanks maybe we can recreate that tonight."

W "sounds cool"

       We head to the movie theater and watch a movie the whole time we were holding hands. After the movie was done mike told me to follow him. I did, we went to a hill out by a farm and we watched the sunset holding hands. I loved every moment of it

M "will?"

W "yeah?"

M "can I kiss you?"

       I cupped Mike's cheek and kiss him, he kissed back.

M "I love you will"

W "I love you more"
