"So what is he like?" Miles asked as he picked at the organic cesar salad Shailene had prepared for him. The duo are in Central Park, finally able to squeeze time out of their busy schedules to have a little catch-up with each other.

“He? Who?” Shailene feigning ignorance and looking at Miles.

“Come on, you know who I mean.” Miles teased.

Of course, Shailene thought. Of course she knew who Miles meant. The attraction was almost instant, the moment she locked eyes with him. The audition had went so well. He knew exactly how to react to her lines and together, they created such perfect scenes – Scenes of the movie that so often played in Shailene’s head. It shocked her that day, during the audition, how Theo immediately read her and felt the same about how each scene of the script should be portrayed. The chemistry had been nothing less than electrifying and working with him invigorated her.

“Snap out of it!” Miles said, snapping his fingers in front of Shailene’s face.

Shailene groaned. This had been happening to her ever since the day she met Theo. She developed a tendency of drifting into a trance every now and then, thinking about Theo, wondering how on earth their chemistry had been so magical.

“He’s a good actor.” She stated briefly to Miles. She is not in the mood to share any information on how she felt about Theo to anybody, at least not for the moment. She wanted to keep this moment magical, creating this private space in her brain that no one knows about yet.

“Shaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.” Miles called out in exasperation. Shailene looked up at Miles again and sigh.

“I’m sorry Miles, I’m just really, really distracted about all that is going on with the whole divergent thing,” Shailene lied, “Not really good company today.”

“Alright Shai, head home, have your own space.” Miles encouraged, “Thanks for the salad!” Miles started packing up the remainders of his salad. Salad has never been his favourite. The only time he ever had it was when he and Shailene meet up over lunch as she insisted that he take up the healthy habit with her, even if it was once per week per meal.

Shailene was grateful to Miles for the distance he so willingly provided to her, even if today was their “catch-up” day. They bade farewell and Shailene decided to walk back to her apartment, being only 15minutes away from the park. She needed the time do some thinking. Apart from feeling anxious about the starting of the shoot for the new movie, she found herself unable to stop thinking of Theo. Every time she tried to relax at home or outside of it, with or without people, she found Theo springing into her brain. This situation did not make any sense. Sure, they did have much chemistry while working on set together, but this thinking…this weird feeling of longing, to see his twinkling brown eyes again, to hear his deep, raspy voice again just did not make any sense.  Nobody had ever made her feel this way before.
