Lonnie finds an old board game: Shacrony. She invites her friends Mal, Ben, Jay, Evie, Doug, Carlos, Jane, Audrey, and Chad to play the game with her. They all choose a character. But something very unexpected happens: they get sucked into the game...
Jay spawned into the sky. He fell down, through the trees, and landed on his feet, luckily. He looked around. He saw trees, plants, a river, plants, birds, and plants. He ran his hand through his hair. His eyes fell on his outfit. Damn, it changed! It looked like the outfit Tyler Blackbone wore on the card Jay chose. Wait a second... He looked into the river and he saw that he still looked like himself, but with Tyler's outfit. He felt something in his pocket, it was the card. When they were still in Auradon, the card was blurry. But in the jungle, he saw that Tyler Blackbone looked exactly like Jay, he was only a little paler and he had different clothes and yellow eyes. In another pocket, he found a folded map. He unfolded it and looked at it. He saw colored points appearing on the map. That must've been his friends! The points formed names. He decided to look for the one who was the closest to him: F. Grant.

Evie landed on her feet too. She saw a giant rock next to her and a shining river. She gasped when she saw a part of light-blue hair before her eyes. She ran her hand through her hair. She did it again. And again. And again. It was so soft! And short, she wasn't used to that. She looked at her hands. Oof, they weren't disappearing! Her nails were shiny, like transparent nail polish. They were a bit longer than usual. She looked over at her body. She wore a totally different outfit than she would wear usually. She ran to the river to see if it wasn't an effect from the light. She screamed. 'Light-blue!' She saw that her eyes were an icy blue. She looked at her outfit again. She saw a map and a card behind her belt. Evie looked at the card and she saw the image of Lily Dragonfly. An image instead of a drawing. She saw that Lily looked exactly like her. Or well, that Evie looked exactly like Lily. She unfolded the map and saw some points appearing. They turned into names. They could be her friends, so Evie searched for the one who was the closest to her: R. Floral.
