Pin was originally a girl named Sandy. Her full name is Sandy Anais Maury. Sandy is a black girl who was bullied at school by racist students, causing her to be mean and bossy to everyone, even racist people. She has a few friends, and they understood why she's mean and bossy. The racist people that bullied her at school saw her and bullied her again, but she was mean and bossy to them, roasted them, and told them to jump off the cliff.
One day in 1952 when she was 17, she was walking in the street. While she's doing that, the racist white man saw her and shot her. She didn't know the racist white man was around, and didn't expect the shooting to happen. The man got arrested, and Sandy was rushed to the hospital. She fell into a coma. After 4 days, she died, and had a funeral. In her BFDI counterpart, she was still mean and bossy, and thinks she's a heroic team leader.
