"What did you just do?" Arthur asks. Suddenly the floor turns on an angle and they both slide down as they both scream. They continue to slide and when they finally hit the bottom they roll on top of each other. They begin to laugh and Arthur pushes himself up with his arms as he is on top of her. He looks into her eyes and leans in. Olivia turns her head quickly.
"Look Arthur!" Olivia yells. Oliver looks up and sees something shining. he gets up and notices a cauldron to his left. He feels the liquid inside, smalls his hand and ignites it with his torch. It lights up and the flames go shooting down hitting other cauldrons like a chain reaction.
"Holy shit!" he exclaims. Bother their jaws drop and their eyes widen. They begin to cheer and jump in excitement. "We did It!"
"We found it!" Olivia cheers. They put their arms around each other and continue to cheer
"Yeah! Woo!" Arthur screams. All around them shines nothing but gold, overgrown jungle, pools of water and waterfalls. They see that they are in a giant temple made of solid gold bricks and can see other temples in the distance. There is so much gold that even the reflecting light off the gold turns their skin golden to their eyes.
"This truly is a city of gold, " Olivia exclaimed. Arthur marvels at the gold while Olivia marvels at the craftsmanship.
"So much treasure and gold here," Arthur stated.
"Forget what it's worth Arthur! We discovered history and uncovered a mystery. Because of us history books will be re-written!," Olivia responded with excitement. They wonder around the golden temple as if they were in a dream. Everything and anything gold is in the sea of small temples. Gold plates, jugs, weapons, books, statues, coins, everything. There isn't an inch that isn't made of gold."Look at this." They come to a wall with ancient writing.
"What does it say?" Arthur asked.
"It's a story of what happened. Basically the Muisca people were cursed to protect El Dorado until the end of time. Well I guess that explains the mummies, " Olivia replied.
"No Liv, nothing will explain mummies coming to life," Arthur chuckled Then they suddenly felt the ground slightly shake and heard what sounded like footsteps. Boom, boom.
"What the fuck was that?" Arthur and Olivia asked the same question at the same time. They run down a golden staircase and look over a ledge. A huge ten foot tall mummy in a golden headdress of an eagle and golden armor came stomping toward them.
"I forgot to mention the wall said something about he who enters El Dorado and does not encumber, will awake the chief  from his slumber," Olivia quivered.
"Oh. Great," Arthur cried. They run back to the way they came in but the way was shut. "Shit," he yelled. The chief came closer and closer, peering at them with a dead stare that seemed to go straight through their soul. Arthur walked up to him and pulled out his shotgun. He fired, cocked his gun and fired again straight at the chiefs head. The chief stumbled a bit and just continued after them.
    "Arthur!" Olivia yelled.
"Go Liv!" he yelled back. "Find a way out. I'll handle him." Olivia shook her head. "Go, now!" Olivia ran as fast as she could wandering around looking for some kind of clue. She heard Arthur his gun a few more times. Her head filled with worry and her heart pounded in her chest. She finally came to two huge golden doors with a strange key hole. She looked up as Arthur fired his last shot and ran closer.
"His necklace Arthur! The chiefs necklace is the key to this door down here!" she screamed at him. Arthur threw his gun and pulled out the sword. Olivia bit her nails as she didn't know what to do. Arthur began to sword fight with the chief, but every blow from the giant caused him to fall. The chief swung his blade, Arthur deflected it and was thrown on his back. The gold chief swung down with his sword and Arthur rolled out of the way. Arthur ran as the chief swung his sword across almost taking off Arthur's head. Arthur ducked and the chiefs sword hit a golden pillar and got stuck. Arthur saw this as his small chance to figure something out. He looked at the gold armored chief and noticed the only non armored spots are his eyes and neck.
"Arthur!" Olivia shouts and points to a golden spear. Arthur picks it up just as the chief got his giant sword unstuck. Arthur pulled his arm back and threw the spear with all his might. The gold spear sparkled as it sliced through the air and went right through the chiefs left eye. The chief stumbled and tilted his head back. In an instant without even thinking, arthur ran toward the chief, jumped in the air and swung his sword as hard as he could.  The chiefs head came clean off and rolled down golden steps. The necklace fell from the corpse. Arthur picked up the necklace which looked like two giant, golden skeleton keys back to back. He walked over to Olivia. "You know, we make a good team,"  he said breathing heavily. Arthur smiled and handed her the necklace. They walked up a steep staircase that seemed to never end and looked down at the city of  gold. Olivia put it in the key hole and Arthur pulled the door open with all his strength. Light from the morning sun began to peer through. Arthur pulled and pulled the heavy door, which was covered and hidden by vines, shrubbery, and dirt. The door cracked open enough for them to dive through. They were blinded by the sun and suddenly all they heard was gun fire. Olivia could feel the bullets as they whipped past her head. Arthur grabbed her and fell to the ground. He looked back and saw mummies dead outside everywhere.
"You've always gotten yourself into weird shit Arthur," a large, older, muscular man with white hair and a goatee said. Arthur looked up and smiled. The man reached out and grabbed Arthur's hand to help him up as other men were helping up Olivia.
"Well you know me Sargent Ford," Arthur replied.
"Arthur what's going on?" Olivia asked him.
"This is Sargent Ford and these are other soldiers of Black Watch of the Royal Regiment. I hit a transmitter," Arthur replied.
"We never leave a fellow soldier behind or anyone for that fact Mam," Sargent Ford said to Olivia. "So what happened here?" he asked.
"You are not going to believe us," Arthur smirked.
"We just got done shooting a hundred well what looked like mummies, so try me," Ford smirked.
A few days later, Olivia stood with her hands on her hips, smiling as she stared at her team of archeologists excavating El Dorado. Arthur is talking and shaking hands with ford who is more formal attire now. Ford hands him some papers. Arthur walks over to the excavation area and looks down to see Olivia giving orders to other archaeologists and students working on the site.
"Are you using distilled water?" Olivia exclaims at someone.
"Yes ma'am," the other woman responds responds
"And you, have you catelogged these yet?" Olivia asks some guy, most likely student. He shakes his head.
"No? What do you mean no? Get to it," Olivia demands. She looks up and sees Arthur. Olivia climbs up and walks over to him. Arthur smiles and puts his arm around her.
"Giving orders huh?" He rhetorically asks her. She laughs and looks at the papers in Arthur's hand.
    "What's that?" She asks him.
"They want me for some speciality missions." Arthur told her.
"Oh, so does that mean you're leaving?" She asked.
"I told them I have enough excitement with you," he smiled. "Oh and all charges against us from the police in England are dropped and I just received a very prestigious ranking and award."
"Look at you big guy," she winked.
"Me? Look at you with your own team," Arthur said smiling looking upon the many people working on excavating El Dorado.
"Yep, courtesy of the British Museum!" She exclaimed. They discredited Walters from everything and appointed me head archaeologist. I may even win a nobel prize."
"Does that have anything to do with El Dorado that we are looking at?" Arthur sarcastically replied. Did I help with that? I think I helped a little I think...." Olivia turns to him and kisses him to stop his talking. He grabs her waist and kisses her back.
"You talk too much, and you're an ass," Olivia says to him and smiles.
"I know, I can't help but to tease you. So where is our next adventure Liv?" he asked looking into her eyes.
"I'm not sure. But if El Dorado came out to be true then other things must be true as well. I found something a few years ago and was thinking of searching for a fountain."
