Cats and dogs, over phrases,
Over some slights in the past,
People are always over this and that,
Sometimes feeling awesome,
Sometimes, however, feeling awful.
If you would dedicate a moment of love,
On some social media or even traditionalist,
Winds of change might ensue,
Usually better, but sometimes awful.
I hope you understand,
While you have hoped for my empathy,
Circulating a phrase of encouragement,
For better or worse,
Sometimes productive,
Sometimes provocative;
If chosen carefully,
We all could still be family.
