Chapter 10

The next morning, I'm in the bed with Dante Bateman next to me, I'm fully clothed and he has no shirt on, so nothing happened. I sat up on the bed, looking at Dante who's putting his shift back on "Good morning" he said before walking up to me and kissing my forehead. I smiled but I feel bad for Marie and Liam.

I got out of bed and we went to the car, got in and started driving. After some time we arrived at Seattle, we pulled into a stores parking lot. We got in and purchased a phone, Dante called John asking where to meet up. He also texts someone in the phone before giving the phone to me, I put it in my pocket and we got back into the vehicle. We drove to the destination that was only 10 minutes away from the store and I seen everyone there waiting.

We parked, got out of the vehicle and walked up to them. John walks up to me, pats me on the shoulder. "glad you're safe" Ryan says while looking at me, I nod and smile "where's the new building going to be?" I said while looking at John. "we got a big house and we're all living in it together" He said.

Michael walked up to me and shrugged. "have fun trying to have alone time with your boyfriend, Liam" he said while chuckling. I looked at Dante who seems angered, I quickly look at Liam who seems hurt and I look back at Michael, shook my head. "no. We're not dating anymore" I whispered. Michael stops chuckling then pulls me into a hug, he lightly squeezes me before pulling away.

"Can I have a chance with her now?" Caleb says while smirking at me, I rolled my eyes as I chuckled. "no, you can not, Caleb" Dante says in an angry tone. "hold up, why is Dante so angry about me trying to get with Paige, Marie is yours. Step back" Caleb says while looking at Dante, I sighed and looked at Marie who has a confused look on her face. I shrugged and look at Dante.

"Because he is her bodyguard from day one, you wanted in her pants and he's protecting her from you" Ryan said, thank you for saving Dante and I. "enough drama, let's go to the house" John says and we all went to our separate vehicles. The phone went off and I took it out, it was John. He gave us the address, I told Dante the address and he started to drive there.

"I am going to break it off once we arrive to the house, Paige" Dante says, I nod and look out the window the whole time. The house is outside of Seattle, we pulled up to the house and parked in the driveway. We got out and walked up to everyone else. "okay, Paige sleeps downstairs, Caleb sleeps upstairs, Liam sleeps upstairs, Marie sleeps downstairs, Michael sleeps upstairs, Ryan sleeps downstairs, Dante sleeps upstairs, I sleep upstairs. You can pick your own rooms" John says before grabbing the boxes and going to the door, he takes out a key, puts it in and unlocks the door.

We followed him inside, I looked around in awe, it's so beautiful. Ryan grabs my hand, leads me to the bedrooms. I looked in each room, I claimed the one closest to the stairs. "don't be sneaking upstairs to Dante" Ryan whispered before walking out of my room. I walk around my room until I heard a light knock, I turned around to see Caleb.

"Nice room, do you want to see the coolest part?" He said with a smile on his face, I nod and smile back. I follow him to the indoor pool, I look at him and at the swimming pool. "there's also a hot tub" Caleb says before pointing at the indoor hot tub. Dante walks into where we are at. "A word alone, Paige" Dante says in a husky voice, Caleb nods and walks out.

"I broke up with her" Dante whispers in a calm voice, we were about to kiss but Ryan yells "Canon ball" I giggled and Ryan walks up to us. "sorry if I interrupted something" Ryan said with a smirk on his face, I rolled my eyes and chuckled. "I won't be swimming until my wound heals...again" Dante says in an annoyed voice.

"I didn't want to do it" I said while rolling my eyes, Dante grabbed my hand, lightly squeezed it, I look into his eyes and he looks into my eyes too. "it needed to be done, it's okay" Dante whispers before letting go of my hand. "am I the only one that ships this" Ryan says in a excited voice.

"Shut up, Ryan" I whispered while giggling, John walks in and I stop giggling. "we are having some people over, you need to dress up" John says while nodding, I nod back as he walks away. "alright well, time to get ready" Dante says with a smile on his face, we walk away and I walked up to Marie.

"Hey, do you have a dress I could use?" I said with a smile, she nods and leans me to her room. "I got extra dresses if you needed some" she said while pulling a dress out of her closet, she gives it to me and I stare at the dress. "don't worry, you'll be able to pull it off" she said while she closed the door and she turns her back towards me.

I quickly got undressed and put the dress on, I took a deep breath "okay" I said and she turned around, a big smile came on her face. "wow, you look beautiful. Dante likes you, I see the way you look at each other and I want you to know it's okay to go after him, I will not be mad" she said while grabbing my hands, I smiled at her before hugging her, I slowly pulled away and turned my back towards her so she could change.

After some time she said "I'm done" I turned around to see she was wearing a red satin short dress, I smiled. "beautiful" she smiled back and we heard a knock on the door. "ready?" Caleb said on the other side of the door, Marie looks in my eyes and mouths "are you ready" I took a deep breath and nod. Marie opens the door and walks out, I follow behind her.

We walked into the living room to see all eyes on us. I seen Dante staring at me, he took a deep breath and he was in a tuxedo. Caleb walks up to me, he kisses my cheek then he walks up to Marie, he also kissed her cheek. "very beautiful ladies" Caleb said with a smile on his face, I smile and look Dante in the eyes, he can't take his eyes off me. The doorbell ring and he quickly looks away, he walks up to the door and opens it. John quickly walks up to me gives me the same ring from before, I quickly slide it on and walk up to Dante with a smile on my face.

"Still as cute as ever" the same lady from the last party said, she walks in and 70-100 people walks in after her. Dante closes the door, he grabs my hand and leads me to the middle of the room. We start to slowly dance to "Dive" by Ed Sheeran, I look in his eyes and I can't help but smile. He pulls me a little bit closer and leans in closer to my ear "we can get away with kissing in front of everyone because we're married again" Dante said while chuckling, he moves his head back.

He twirls me, pulls me back. He starts singing the song and I am surprised, he is actually a good singer and I started to sing with him as we danced. "before I dive right into you" we both sang before the song ended, we stopped dancing and walked off. John walks up to us, he whispers "what was that?" He looks at Dante then at me. I started to fiddle with my fingers.

"We're married so I thought... I thought it was okay and plus I am not attracted to her" Dante calmly says, at that very moment, my heart shattered. I looked away and walked off, fighting back every tear that tries to escape. I need to calm down, I need to stop freaking out but I can't do that,  why would he say something like that? My heart is broken.
