I was walking around in the mall, by myself considering my friends were too busy to come with me. A tall guy in a suit walked up to me, I looked into his piercing blue eyes.

"Are you Paige Wilson?" He said while standing in front of me, I slowly nodded. I was very confused and didn't know what was happening, I looked around then back at him. I slowly backed up.

If anything happens, people is around. "I'm not going to hurt you, just please come with me, ma'am" He said while holding his hand out, I shook my head and he slowly nodded, taking his hand back.

It was a bit rude but I didn't know this person and why he needs me to come with him. He turned around and started walking towards a store, I followed him into the store.

"I need to buy you an outfit, you're going to a funeral" He said, I was more confused. What was wrong with my outfit now? I don't know this person that died. Rest in peace but like why am I invited to a funeral?

He grabbed a black dress and held it up to my body, he nodded and went to the cashier. I started to laugh and he looks over at me with those eyes and I quickly stopped laughing. He looked away and paid for the dress, we walked out towards the exit.

When we got out, there was black SUV parked near the entrance. We walked up to it, he opened the backseat door I got into the SUV and he closed it. He went over to the drivers seat and got in.

"You can quickly change, I promise I won't look" He said while giving me the dress, I looked at him then at the dress. I quietly sighed, I have so many questions that needs answers I'm afraid to ask cause I don't want to be murdered. Okay, Paige. Stop being overdramatic, he said he won't hurt you but what if he's lying? No, he would've killed me already, right?

"You're not going to kill me, are you?" I blurted out before even thinking, I mentally slapped myself in the face. If he wasn't going to kill me earlier, he probably going to kill me now. I look around for an object to fight back with.

"No. Now change, please." He said while looking at me thru the rear view mirror. I sighed and looked at his pretty blue eyes, his eyes. I could get lost in them. He smirks and looks at the road. I looked away, quickly got undressed and put the dress on.

I lean forward my face close to his. "It fits" I said while laughing. He turns his head, he glares at me and looks back at the road. "Lean back" He said while speeding up, that throws me back in my seat. I roll my eyes and he slows back down.

"Could've killed me" I said while glaring at the back of his head. He shook his head and tighten his grip on the steering wheel. "Can you shut the fuck up?" He yells. I flinch at someone raising their voice at me, it never happened before.

A tear slowly rolls down my cheek. He looks at me in the rear view mirror, he slows down and pulls over to the side of the road. He stops his vehicle and he turns to face me. "Paige, I am sorry, I was just really upset and shouldn't have took out on you. You are going to a funeral to meet your...bodyguard. I am escorting you there" He says, he sounded very caring and genuine.

I looked up at him, I froze. A bodyguard? What about my friends? I am leaving my friends behind. I can't say that I'm leaving my family behind cause they died in a car crash almost a month ago. I tear up at that memory.

He grabs my hand, I look at his hand. He has a wedding ring on, I quickly look up in his eyes. "Why a bodyguard?" I said while looking up into his blue eyes, he slightly smiles. That's rare, in the little time I've known him this is the first time I seen him smile.
