Chapter 5

Lapis POV

I slowed down looking for Peri. The texture under me was all gravel and dirt and around were stones sticking out of the ground. I looked around, hoping to see Peridot around.

"MOTHER!!" That scream peirced threw the air and I knew exactly who it was. I ran toward the direction I herd it from. I soon came across a broken down Peridot.

"Peri..?" I asked, trying to sound calm and reassuring as possible. I kneeled down and rubbed her back. She let out more sobs, each one sounded so painful and filled with sadness. She then turned around and cried on my chest, clutching her fist on the my shirt. I held on to her, all she needed was support and love right now. And that's what I will give her.

*A day after*

"Blaze! Get off the bed- AAAGH!" I was being trampled on by this darn wolf! He kept grabbing into my sleeve and kept jumping on my bed. "BLAZE! Stawp it- BLAZE!" "Blaze!" Peridot came into the room. "Down boy!" And of course he obeys. "Listen to your future mother." She said and Blaze brought up his paw. Peridot took it and said "Good Blaze." "Future mother you say?" I teased. "Wait you don't love me?" She asked pouting slightly. "Of course I do! I love you with all my heart!" I yelled at her. "Oh really?" She said. I then pulled her into a long deep kiss. We both fell back onto the bed. I had to pull away as Peridot started to tickle me. I flailed my legs and arms, trying to push her away but of course she always over powered me. "Okay! Okay! Stop, I will do anything!"
I blurted. "Anything?" 'Damn it'

"Peri why are always so damn ruff..." I pouted. "Oh come on I wasn't to ruff." She said. "My neck hurts! And my legs feel like lead!" "But you were screaming my name and telling me to go harder and faster so..." She smirked, heading out the bathroom. "Shut up you Baka!" I yelled at her. She poked her through the as I turned around and gave me a kissy face and winked at me. "Damn dork..." I mumbeled. "You love me though!" She yelled back.

We walked out of the barn house and headed towards to the town. We needed to buy some things for Blaze and some stuff for us. School was starting tomorrow too so we were going to get Peridot some things. I had bought my stuff before hand but I just needed some other things.

After hours of buying and things we came to a cafe to get some good to go. We bought some steak for Blaze as well. As we were walking back Peridot seemed very nervous and kept looking around. I took her hand with my free one, hoping to maybe calm her down. I herd her chuckle and she squeezed my hand. "I love Lapis." She said. "I love you too, my little Periwinkle." I said and gave her a smile. She pouted and looked down, her face becoming red. "Very funny..."
