Mr. Corner was a weird man and even though he looked drool worthy, he was a weird man. I didn't understand his logic at all. First he calls me Amora, next, he is on his knees crying and asking my forgiveness and finally, he is trying to strike a deal with me.

I couldn't help but wonder what he would request of me but what I wondered the most was who Amora was and why he mistook her for me. As I put on my chef coat and went to start my activities for the day, I could only hope that the sous chefs managed to at least start preparing simple breakfast meals.

I thought it was weird that the restaurant served the role of a café in the morning and the role of an expensive establishment at noon and night. I also thought that Mr. Corner was smart to make breakfast cheap since it's the most important meal of the day. Steph told me once that it was so that even the poor would have a chance to dine or eat from this restaurant. I guess Mr. Corner was a benevolent man.

When I came out of the staff room, Junior ran towards me and started apologizing for not being able to protect me from Mr. Corner. Just as I was about to reply him, our boss stepped in and I knew Junior was about to get some scolding.

"Justin! What have I told you about leaving your damn post while at work?! What if Mr. Corner comes here and finds you flirting with a woman six years older than you!" Ever since the man found out that Mr. Corner visited our restaurant to have lunch, he had been so uptight. No matter how many times Junior told the man that his name was Junior, the man always found something else to call him.

"Sir, my name is Junior. Mr. Corner already came and left this morning and there is nothing wrong with flirting with older women who look as hot she does." No matter what Junior says to everyone, I knew it in my heart that he was joking and didn't have any feelings for me. He was like a younger brother to me and I was almost sure that he saw me as an elder sister.

"What!?"

"It's true though, haven't you heard the saying that age is nothing but a number. When you find love, you've got to hold on to it with all you've got and not throw it away all because of some age difference. It isn't all the time that you find love with your age mate, sometimes they have to be way older or way younger. I think this is why you're still single, you're looking for women your age but looking at you, I can tell that women your age are either holding their grandbabies, nunified or whoring around. I'm afraid that you have no other option but to settle for the whoring ones, not to worry though, my distant aunt owns something like a brothel, you can find a woman there and pay her to be personal bed warmer. It sounds.........." This boy was truly so stupid, he would soon land us all in trouble.

"Mr. Corner was here this morning?" Yeah, my boss looked like he would soon hyperventilate.

"That's what you got from all that I said? Oh My Gosh! How did I not realize this? You are in love with Mr., Corner!? I should have known that was the reason you have no girlfriends, wife or wife prospects! It's all because you prefer the company of men! I'm sorry though, you'll have to settle for someone less. Mr. Corner likes Miss Lily and although he seems like the perfect gentleman, he is the total opposite! He took advantage of the young Miss today!" Oh my goodness, we were all gonna die today! Why was he involving me in his problem? I wanted to bang that boys head against the window glass.

"Come to my office this instant Lily, this boy will literally anger me to death if I spend on more second with him." You and me both, sir. You and me both!

"You're not even denying it! My aunt also has hookers who are men so you do have an option sir!" I made sure to twist the boys ear in a painful squeeze, causing him to scream and have a red ear before I followed my boss.
