OMNISCIENT.
It had been two days since the young child had been left at the prettymuch house and the boys were doing great. Austin loved having his little mini Cecelia around and he was thankful she was so much like her mother.
Currently the little girl was outside with Nick and he was teaching her about the many wonders of football, while Austin was officially making his room 'Alianna prone.' He had got her, her own little closet dividers to give her the majority of his closet and he bought her, her own shoe rack. He set up her own little vanity for when she wanted to pretend she was a YouTuber or do her nails or whatever she decided to do for that moment. He almost went as far as getting her, her own bed but he decided he'd just sleep on the couch. Her comfort was essential to him and giving up his bed wasn't that much of an expense to pay for his daughters happiness.
"Uncle Nick I cant do it!" She pouted as she tried her best to throw the ball like he taught her but her attempts weren't the best she believed they could be and her frustrations were clearly set in. "But they were so good, you got it really far, buppa. Let's just try it again, you'll get it." He said believing that his little niece could be as good in sports as she is in academics.
"Are you sure? Can't I go tell you the seven continents or something? I'll even point them out on the map. I'll read you a book!" Alianna tried to get him off her back. "I'm pretty sure you can do each and every one of those things but I want you to be active, do you like to do anything else?"
"I like to swim? And don't you remember I'm a gymnast? My momma said I'm like Payson Keeler and I'm number one, she was better than Kelly Parker and all the other rock girls but she still supported everyone, especially when her three friends got on the national team after placing in the top ten at national while she fell on her neck and broke her back at the same event!" She said happy with herself for remembering everything that happened in the first five episodes of her mommas favorite show 'Make it or Break it.'
Nick just stood there for a second as he scratched his neck. "Oh wow um... is this snow on demand?" He kneeled down in front of her and asked lowly like someone else was out there. "Mhm, we can watch it when I'm going to sleep okay?"
"You got it, buppa." He said as the two did a high five. "Okay, let's make a deal." He rose back to his feet.
"If you throw the best bullet you can, you can teach me gymnastics." He bargained as she thought ready to negotiate the deal just like her mother taught her. "Well, I'll do that if you take me to get candy too."
"Deal!" He said immediately and the two shook on it like he didn't just get swindled out of a few dollars by a two year old— almost three year old. She immediately picked up the 'Hey Arnold' shaped ball and threw it with as much force as she could the way Nick taught her and it got a little farther than it did the last time and the two were immediately taken over with joy.
"Look uncle Nick! I did it! I did it!" She yelled as he picked her up and they gave each other big hugs. "Now it's time to tumble!" She clapped and smiled deviously making his shake his head with a laugh.
For the next few hours the two did cartwheels and backflips and jumps and everything she could think to teach him. She even did a little floor routine she made up on the trampoline since it was springy like the mats at her club. By that time it was about three and the two grew tired of the backyard they were confined in. "Uncle Nick I'm bored!" She told as the two laid in the grass cooling off.
"Well what do you want to do shortness?" He asked as he flipped onto his stomach to look at her. "I don't know, can we go see my daddy?"
As if on qui Austin walks out onto the back porch patio and closed the sliding door behind him. "Hey Ali, what are you doing?" He asked as he came over to them and stood over the two. "I was about to come and see you!" She smiled elated to see her father since he had been up in his room all day, and she wasn't sure why.
