Luke POV:
"No way." Trevor said. We were at lunch, eating at our usually spot. Chase isn't here yet, which is not normal of him. I wonder if he's okay? Should I text him?
"What?" I asked him while I was opening up Snapchat to text chase.
"Look," Trevor said, pointing at a direction. I looked over and I saw Chase talking to Lisa. Oh damn, this fucker. I was getting worried over him while he's here making a move with Lisa. I'm happy that he's starting to talk to her. I'm still winning though.
"He's growing up so fast, I'm going to cry. Someone give me a napkin." I said, being dramatic and sarcastic. James threw a used one beside my food. "Ew dude" I laughed.
"Do you think he's going to win?" James ask me. Hmm. Not really, knowing him, he doesn't have the guts to kiss her. He surprised me today though, not going to lie, I'll give him credit.
"Maybe. I can't predict the future." I told him.
"Do you think he's a virgin?" James asked me. 100% yes. If something happened he'll tell me.
"Nah. He's not a virgin. I'm pretty sure he isn't a virgin." I lied. I don't know these guys well enough to trust them. They might tell people who could bully Chase. Being 18 and a virgin in this school is a big no no. At one point of my 2nd year of high school, everyone was having sex. About 1/8th of the girls became pregnant.
"I'm a virgin," Josh said quietly.
"Lameeee." James said. Trevor laughed and fists bumped James. These idiots. Josh looked unbothered, but I know deep inside he's dying of embarrassment. I rolled my eyes.
"Shut up James, I bet you never kiss a girl," I said, a little seriously, "and there's nothing wrong being a virgin Josh. You're not a father to a child at this age." I assured him. I know I'm being hypocritical, but they don't know that. There really isn't wrong being a virgin but this atmosphere of being a virgin a bad thing is killing me. And some people with closed minded minds won't understand that.
"Thanks dude." Josh looked up at me for a second. I could tell he was grateful for standing up for him. In my own hypocritical way, of course.
"I bet you're a virgin." Trevor said, teaming up with James.
"No I'm not," yes I totally am. I've never have sex with someone. I've had oral sex a few times with the same girl, but that's because she was my girlfriend. She moved to a whole other country last year. Victoria reminds me of her. God I miss her.
"What are we talking about today?" Chase questioned, I didn't notice that he was heading this way.
"Are you a Virgin?" James ask. This fucker. I'm starting to not like James and Trevor. They sat at our spot like a month ago. Josh sat with us 2 weeks ago.
"Nope." Chase said, popping the 'P.' I knew he would say no. He quickly looked at me and looked away.
"Sooo You and Lisa." I wiggled my eyebrows, changing the subject. Chase started to get red on the cheeks. He's hooked and doesn't know it yet.
"What about it?" Chase asked. I shrugged my shoulders. He'll tell me later. Or maybe not, it's really not my business.
"I heard she's a thot." Trevor said, looking at me, smirking slightly. This bitch. He will win if he see's me upset.
"Hmmm, let's find out," I told him, "but only me, Chase and Josh because she's going to think something's up." I stood up. Chase gave me a death glare while Josh was standing up. Chase sighed and stood up.
We walk towards Lisa and her table had 4 free seats. I didn't think that the boys would actually listen to me. Lisa and I locked eyes and I gave a warm smile, hopefully she doesn't get nervous. She glanced at Chase and smiled at him.
"Guess you are having lunch with us after all." Lisa told him, and he smile back.
"I guess I am." He said, with a different voice. A confident, flirtatious voice. Slightly deeper than usual. I've never seen this side of him. My boy. He's surprising me more and more. He sat down across from her with me beside him.
"Again, sorry about Jade. She usually never texts me with favors, so this is probably urgent." She told Chase. Josh was talking to the other girls that were in the table with us. Hm. Who's Jade?
"Is she usually blunt?" Chase asked her.
"I don't know her well enough. She mostly keeps to herself, but we've never really hang out outta school. We've known each other for a year and a half now? A little bit more than that. We mostly talk about school stuff. She's really sweet once you get to know her a little bit better." Lisa talked about her. Chase nodded, thinking about something because he has that look he does whenever he's think back about something.
"Who's Jade?" I asked. They both looked at me. Woah, damn, can a guy ask a simple question.
"Jade fuentes. She has long wavy brown with highlights and the lightest blue eyes I've seen on a person. I wish I had blue eyes. I'm stuck with poop eyes." Lisa said, pouting slightly. Is she trying to be cute because it's honestly working. I glanced at Chase and he was blushing a bit. He opened his mouth.
"You have really light brown eyes, I thought you had hazel eyes." Dude, don't be too obvious that you stalk her. "I mean, when I first saw you that is. They look pretty." Hmm, nice save. Did he read my mind?
"I think Jade is in my gym class." I said, remembering a girl was called for early release. "I think that was her because I remembered being a little surprised that the girl changed in like 5 minutes? She was fast."
"I know her teacher. Is it Coach Hawthorn?" Lisa asked me.
"Yeah. Then that's her. She had early release." I explained to them. Thinking about it now. Jade has a big butt, and she's really pretty. Why haven't noticed her before? I would at least noticed her butt. Maybe it's because I have Victoria in my mind and once someone is in there, it's hard to think about other girls.
The bell suddenly ranged. Speaking about Victoria. I got to meet her. Everyone around us stood up.
"Well bye guys, I got places to be. See ya." I told them, completely abandoning Chase with Lisa. The look on his face was priceless! I'm such an ass. I threw a peace sign while throwing my leftovers and keeping my lunch box.
My phone dinged. I couldn't help but smile. That's her, I can feel it. I weaved through the crowded hallway, went to my locker and quickly threw my lunch box inside. I pulled out my phone.
I'm here
I'm almost there.
I quickly started to one of the sides of the building, a neglected part of the building where the teachers don't pay attention to students like myself skip class.
I immediately saw her. She was on her phone.
"Hey," I said so that she won't get too spooked, "let's go."
She didn't say anything while she was trailing behind me. We got closer to my car.
"Nice car." She said, admiring my black 370z. It's not mine yet, I still have to pay off my dad $1,500 for it. I'm almost done paying for it, but Victoria doesn't have to know that.
"Thanks." I told said. My dad basically gave it to me for free with $3,000. That's like 1/4 of its original cost. It's the newest one, straight from the dealer ship. He paid for all of it same day he brought it.
We got in it, and quickly drove away. I love feeling this adrenaline rush. The possibility of getting caught is strangely nice. Scary as fuck but still nice.
My phone automatically connected to the Bluetooth and I softly played The Less I Know The Better by Tame Impala. Victoria started to nod her head to the beat.
"Soo where are we going?" She asked me. Shit. I didn't think that far.
