7. Why are you even here?

  ...Time skip to 2 days before wedding...

Only two days left for the wedding. No one knows about it in my 'family'. My mom and dad died almost 7 years ago and in these 7 years, no one didn't even bothered to call me once on 'if I am taking care of myself or not' or 'if I am still alive or dead'. So, I had no guests. I was talking to Matt on call when my doorbell rang.

Y- Hold on. Someone's on the door.

I opened the door a bit and...

Y- What are you doing here!?
M- (y/n)! What's wrong?
Y- My cousin.
M- What? The one who sexually assaulted you?
Y- Hmm.
M- I am coming there right now. Don't cut the call.

He was stronger than me so he pushed the door open and came in.

(Cousin- C)

C- I heard you are getting married.
Y- Yes, I am. And by the way, who the heck gave you my address?? No one knew that I live here.
C- *totally ignoring my question* How can you do this?
Y- What?
C- How can you get married to someone else. You know that I love you.
Y- Dude, we are cousins. Do you even know what a cousin relationship is?
C- You still have time. Whoever you're going to marry, tell him that now you don't want to get married. Come with me. I'll take you somewhere far from here and we will live happily.
Y- 😐 Just.. Get the f**k out of here. I don't even want to see your face.
Matt (on call)- I am here, (y/n).

He walked towards me and started strangling me. I was struggling. My vision was going black. All I could say was 'Matt'. My vision went completely black. Then I heard someone being punched. He let go off of me and I fell to the ground, coughing. When everything started to get clear, I saw Matt, Joey and Bryan fighting with my cousin. He ran away and Matt came to me.

M- (y/n)! Are you ok?

I couldn't speak. He picked me up and took me to my room. Bryan brought water for me. My hands were still shaking.

M- Calm down, (y/n).

I drank some water and cleared my throat.

Y- Thanks, guys.
J- Matt, I think you should stay here for tonight.
Y- I am ok now. You must be having so much work at home.
B- Don't worry. Joey and I will take care of that.
Y- But-
M- (y/n), it's for your safety. What if he comes back in the middle of the night.
Y- Hmm.

J-Fred and Bryan left while Matt stayed with me. We were sitting in silence when suddenly I hugged him really tight.

Y- Thank you, Matt. I love you.
M- I love you too, (y/n). It's pretty late. You should sleep now.

I nodded and we slept.

                      ...The next day...

M- Will you be ok alone?
Y- Yes, Matt.
M- Are you sure?
Y- *smile* Babe!
M- I am worried about you. What happened last night was... I don't want to leave you alone.
Y- Don't worry. I will manage.
M- *sigh* Ok then. Just call me if something happens.
Y- Mhmm..

He kissed me and then he left. Rest of the day he and his family called me time to time to check if I am ok. I was a bit scared all day but in the end, my cousin, he never came back.
