Y/n's POV
"Alright class we're going to be doing a project and you'll need a partner", Ms.Howard said.

The whole class got excited instantly. Not about the project but the fact that we'll be doing partners.Everyone wanted to partner up with their friends so they could just talk most of the time.

"You wanna be my partner mamas?", Billie asked.

"Of course Bil we're gonna ace this project", I said reaching over and pecking her lips.

"Oh and one more thing... I'll be picking partners", Ms. Howard said.

The whole class groaned at her. I swear she does shit like this on purpose. I rarely know anyone else in the class except Danielle. Ms. Howard started to name off the list of partners to the class. I just hope I get a good partner.

"Billie you'll be working with Danielle"

"Y/n you'll be partners with Madison", she read off her list.

I was happy because I've actually spoken to Madison before. We've actually became friends. During class we would always talk when our teacher wasn't looking. She's actually nice and funny so I know we'll be good partners. On the other hand when Ms.Howard said that Billie and Danielle are gonna be partners I got a little concerned. Considering after what Danielle told me about Billie I have a right to be.

They obviously don't have a good past if Danielle had to tell me that information yesterday. It makes me wonder what happened between them. Danielle started to plead to the teacher about switching partners. Billie on the other hand happily smirked. I need to find out what happened between them.

"For the project you'll be recreating one scene from Romeo and Juliet. I'll assign you a scene in a few minutes. You'll also write a summary about the meaning behind that scene. I'm not giving you time in class so you'll have to work with your partner outside of school"

"Ms. Coward is doing too much", Madison whispered in my ear.

I quietly giggled and pushed her side. Madison started going on about how Ms.Howard can't dress and that she looks like Mrs.Puff. It was getting harder to keep my laughter in when she was roasting our teacher. I heard a loud snap on my side that got the whole classes attention.

Billie's pen was broken in half and ink was dripping all over her notebook. Billie had one hand on my thigh the whole class so I was confused on how she broke it with one hand. She must be really fucking strong. She was just staring at the broken pen as ink dropped down her hands. The whole class was looking at her.

"What's the issue Ms. O'Connell", Ms.Howard asked.

"OBVIOUSLY I BROKE MY FUCKING PEN", Billie screamed.

Why was she yelling the fuck?

"calm down baby", I whispered in her ear.

She was literally shaking with anger. I don't even know what she was mad about. She was just happy a few minutes ago. I snuggled into Billie's side and kissed her cheek to calm her down. I felt Billie relax from my touch and wrap her arm around me. I left little pecks on her neck as she cradled me.

Ms.Howard looked like she was about to pee her pants from Billie's tone. I've seen Billie mad before but never this mad. I looked up to see Billie glaring at the teacher. Billie wasn't in the right mindset to be at school right now. I noticed she's been a little off today.

"I'll email y-you guys your scene class dismissed"

The bell rang and Billie quickly stormed out the classroom. I waved bye to Madison and quickly went to find her. After a few minutes of looking around I found her leaning against her locker. I walked up and wrapped my arms around her instantly. She hugged her face into my chest when she realized it was me.
