Cole got himself dressed as he looked himself in the mirror, he didn't want to go anymore. But he promised Sam he would should up for drinks this time unlike the eight other times he dipped on him to follow leads that lead nowhere to Madilyn. Part of him was hoping to meet someone to take home and get his mind of Madilyn.

But that didn't happen. When Cole met up with Sam, they ended up talking about Madilyn. Sam didn't think he was crazy, instead he decided to help with his craziness and agreed to try to help finding her.

"Wait, when did they let Benjamin out?" Sam asked Cole as he was pulling up the file of mislead leads he had. "A little after graduation but he stayed out with my uncle on the farm."

"Oh, I gottchu. So where is the last place you looked for her." Sam asked as he hovered over Cole. "Here." Cole hovered the mouse over West Avenue. "West Avenue? You think he'll be in a public place with her?" Sam asked as he was clearly confused.

"Not with her, but he would be there. You kno2, meeting people or something. I don't know, but I know he's been there." Cole's confidence started to dial down when Sam was questioning his thinking.

"You're right. He might be there." Sam said once he realizes how down Cole got. Sam didn't believe Benjamin was that stupid. In fact, Sam always believed Benjamin was always book smarter than Cole, and of course he was definitely street smarter than Cole ever will be. "Or been." Same mumbled.

Cole and Sam spent the next few hours going over Cole's leads. Sam was smarter than Cole, everyone knew that so Cole feared if Sam couldn't help him than there was no hope. The police gave up 7 months after she went missing.

Cole kept saying how he doesn't think Benjamin would come back to Kansas as it is a small state. Cole believed he was still with her in California, and he could never be more right. But he doesn't know where in California.
