"Look at me." Benjamin complained. "You look at me." Madilyn complained back. "I am? That makes no sense. You- stop being so fucking stubborn and look at me, goddamn."

Madilyn groaned and turned around facing Benjamin. He looked at her and smiled. "You look beautiful, as always." She slightly smiled and looked down.

"I was thinking, to make up for the rough 2 months we been having, why don't I make you dinner? Not like something simple but like you put on your prettiest dress and do your makeup and I'll make you a nice fancy dinner, sound good?"

Madilyn just nodded her head and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower. She became excited during her shower considering her and Benjamin been fighting for 2 months straight since she stole the phone. Neither one of them brought it up, but they both know it happened.

As she stepped out, she looked at her stomach. She started to show early considering she was only 16 weeks. She smiled to herself because covering up her stomach and going to her room. She quickly got dressed and slipped into a light blue and white striped dress as she tied the side of the top. Benjamin got it for her birthday last year and she never got the chance to wear it till now.

"We'll get out of this soon, I promise." She km whispered to herself as she stared at the mirror. "Soon."

She walked to Benjamin still cooking the food. She sat down on the bar stool watching him. "I never noticed how long of a shower you take." Benjamin joked, causing a light laugh and an eye roll from Madilyn. "You take longer to cook dinner."

"Well I want your birthday dinner to taste right." He shrugged his shoulders. Her smile faded as she remembered today was her birthday. Almost 3 years ago, she was still with Cole not having a clue who the hell Benjamin was.

Right now, she would be drinking wine with Cole as they ordered take out watching a movie in their pajamas. She never did anything big for her birthday and Cole never made a fuss about it.

She started to feel upset as she remembered one of her favorite memories with him, simply because it they never put in much effort for her favorite ones.

"Hey, you okey?" Benjamin asked as he placed a plate in front of Madilyn. "Yeah, just hungry." She lied as she covered up her sadness.

A loud noise started to go off in Benjamin's room, they both stared at each other confused.
