It's been another week since Sam and Cole found the lead. They decided to watch more street clips, hoping to find more than just one, they came up empty handed.
"Dammit!" Cole yelled as he slammed his hand on the table. He just got through with the last of the tapes, and was disappointed once he found nothing.
"Calm down, Colby." Sam said softly as he stood in the kitchen.
"Cole."
"What?" Sam asked confused. "It's not Colby, it's Cole. Colby died when Benjamin took him away." Cole mumbled.
No one said anything after that, simply because they didn't know what to say.
Cole spent the next few days going over those clips, hoping he just missed something, hoping there was something there.
And there was.
"Sam!" Cole yelled, the third day reviewing the clips. They extended the clip to a closer date today and with Cole's luck, he found a clip of Benjamin from a few days ago.
Sam walked out his bedroom to over to the desk where Cole was at. "Watch this." Cole played the first clip than paused it, fast forwarding it to the next clip where Benjamin had a bunch of bags in his hands.
"He would never buy that much food if it was just him. Sam, you know what this means?"
Sam didn't say anything, he just stared at the computer screen.
As for Madilyn, she's been craving food like crazy. She was constantly eating or wanting to eat, she even put on a few pounds these past few months.
"How are you feeling?" Benjamin asked as he came into the living room with her as she watched the blue ray version of Scream. He didn't let her watch actually tv, she had only dvds to watch.
"Better, maybe." She shrugged. She has been throwing up every morning for as long as they could remember. "I might have to get one of my friends out here and check on you." Benjamin mumbled as he brought his attention to the tv.
"You talk to people? Like someone besides me?" Madilyn's attention was only on Benjamin now but he just ignored her and didn't bother to look at her.
She sighed and lowered her eyes. She went back to watching Scream until she ended up falling asleep. Benjamin made sure she was completely asleep before getting up and going to his room, quickly locking the door.
He grabbed his track phone off the desk and quickly dialed a number, waiting for them to pick up.
"Hello." A low mumbled spoke on the other line. "Hey, I need you to come out here. I'm afraid she's, you know." Benjamin didn't talk long to his friend before ending the call.
He went to the bathroom and filled the sink up with water. He dropped the track phone into the bowl of water. He left it sitting there as he left and went back out to Madilyn, making sure to lock the door again behind him.
