Ever since Madilyn and Benjamin got settled in his secret house, she didn't do anything besides sit in her room. Everyday she looked for ways to escape but Benjamin already figured she would try that and made the house inescapable. But she didn't give up, everyday she tried a new way.

She was in the middle of trying to open the screwed down window for the 5th time as Benjamin was starting to come to the room. She quickly stopped when she heard his loud footsteps and hopped down off the dresser and quickly sat on the bed before the door opened.

When Benjamin opened the door, he stared at her before looking around the room, than back at her. "What are you doing?" He pursed his lips as he already knew. "No-nothing. Just sitting here." He walked up to her and roughly grabbed her face.

"If I see you trying to escape again, you are gonna pay for it." Benjamin gritted through his teeth. He wasn't stupid, he knew exactly what she was doing, he already had the house planted with cameras for the days he has to leave.

"I'm sorry." She spoke quietly. He roughly let go of her face before he hit her. "You better be." He started to walk back to the door. He grabbed onto the handle before looking at her. "This door stays open from now on." He roughly pushes it back onto the wall, causing the handle to push a hole onto the wall.

Madilyn quietly cried as she scooted herself up against the headboard, bringing her knees up her. She cried until she fell asleep.

Sam and Cole walked around the beach house. It was never cleaned up, the blood from both, Cole and Madilyn stained the area rugs. Cole closed his eyes as he took small steps through the house. He felt the pain in his chest like he was getting shot all over again. He felt the scar through his shirt as he took a deep breath, quickly catching up to Sam.

"What are we doing here?" Cole asked as Sam was making his way to the kitchen. "I want to see if there was any sign of them being here at all during these past 2 years." Sam walked fast to the kitchen as Cole was taking little steps.

Every step he took, a memory from that night would be remembered.
