my endgame : stony

10: strange

months pass after the whole fight between steve, tony and maria. maria learns how to cope with her prosthetic hand. tony still doesn't know where steve resides but he focuses on his daughter.

in central park, tony and maria stroll while talking to each other and enjoying each other's company. they're walking on the path until they are stopped by a man who appears through a sparkly orange ring,

"tony stark, i'm doctor strange. i need you to come with me."

tony and maria stand there shocked,

"i'm sorry, are you handing out tickets or something?"

"we need your help. it's not overselling to say that the fate of the universe is at stake"

"and who's we?"

bruce appears behind strange and walks up to tony and maria,

"hey tony.."

"b..bruce?"

"..maria"

"hi?"

"you alright?"

bruce doesn't respond as he goes to hug tony.

"tell me his name again" tony sits down with his chin between his forefinger and thumb

"thanos, he sent loki. the attack in new york. he's a plague, takes what he wants and wipes half of the population"

tony speaks to himself,
"this is it"

"what's our timeline?"

"no telling, he has the power and space stones that alone makes him the most powerful creature in the universe"

tony gets up to stretch while leaning on an artifact

"are you seriously leaning on the cauldron of the cosmos?" stranges cloak smacks tony

the four of them continue to talk about the stones and how to get them away from thanos when bruce brings up the avengers,

"the avengers broke up... we're toast"

"what do you mean 'broke up'?"
"like a band? like the beatles?"

"cap and i fell out hard.." tony starts to scratch his head

"tony.. thor's gone. it doesn't matter who you're talking to or not"

tony steps aside and pulls out the phone steve sent him a few months back, he lets out an annoyed sigh as he hears a rumble outside. he turns around to look at strange,

"hey doc,  you wouldn't happen to be moving your hair, would you?"

strange looks up at his little hair curl, confused,
"not at the moment. no"

tony looks up at the ceiling that the hulk made, he then goes to walk towards the door and open it. he's met with the outside is chaos and people's running and screaming. he starts to walk down the sidewalk and a women falls in front of him,

"are you alright?" he helps her up as a car crashes into a lamppost in front of them.

he walks past a car with a man in it and tells banner wong to help him. he puts on his modified glasses,

"what am i looking at friday?

"not sure. i'm working on it boss"

tony walks down the street and around the corner,
"hey doc! you might want to put that time stone in your back pocket!

spell bands form around stranges hands,
"might wanna use it!"

"holy shit! we're all gonna die!!" ned says as peter thwips the bus window open. yelena jumps in front of peter and tells him to stay on the bus. she jumps out and puts on her mask
