Camila's POV
I stood with Billie right where we had Lauren in front of us, and she seemed busy talking to a group of people about her ideas for the band, but as soon as she saw Billie now holding me by the waist, she quickly dropped the conversation to approach us. I knew she would get possessive. I felt my confidence boosting as soon as I noticed her eyes scanning me all over, and I certainly didn't mind.
"Camila, good to see that you came. Is Billie stalking you?" Lauren asked with that prepotent smirk of hers. She smelled like alcohol and cigarettes. She wasn't as tipsy as Billie, but I could tell she would be soon.
"What the f-" Billie attempted to lunge at Lauren, but I tightened my grip on her, keeping her in place. I did not need them to fight at the moment.
"Hey, Billie, it's alright. She's just joking." Billie didn't seem to listen to me, and just kept glaring at Lauren. I could tell she was fuming, and Lauren was ready to start a brawl over me. I decided to start a conversation to avoid the fight. "Hey Lauren. No, Billie and I actually came together."
"Yeah, Camila wants to know me better." Billie added and Lauren looked me straight into my eyes, and I could tell she wanted to really find out if I was playing some sort of game with her. Those green-blueish eyes would be the death of me.
"No, she doesn't. She just won't accept she likes me." As hot as she looked, that still made her sound like an ass. Billie wasn't buying it and removed her arm from my waist. I tried to step in front of the blonde girl, avoiding a physical move from any of them.
"Who I come with is none of your business Lauren, and you really wish I liked you, don't you?" I provoked her, and she bit her lip. I could swear she wanted to just grab me and kiss me right there, which I really needed, but had to disapprove of if it actually were to happen.
"Camila, let me handle this. Lauren needs to be put in place." God, I had to turn around and place my hands on Billie's shoulders before she could squeeze me in the middle of her body and Lauren's. Not that I would mind feeling the guitar player's body on my own, but it just wasn't the best idea.
"Oh yeah? Is it you who's going to put me in place, Billie?" Now I could feel Lauren's body tightly pressed against my back while she tried to get closer to Billie. She probably did it on purpose, and the contact made me have so many inappropriate thoughts.
Against my body's will, I tried to push Billie away from me so I could escape the intoxicating lack of personal space. Lauren noticed my uncomfortableness, mostly because I was being suffocated, and successfully moved Billie away from us so I could safely move away from both girls. Things were escalating quickly, and I was still trying to recover my breath so Ariana had to interfere and push them apart. Lily watched the entire scene with a confused face, and I had no doubt she would now despise me.
"Lauren, are you really going to make a scene right now? Over Camila?" Ariana yelled, taking a position between them like I tried to do before. The only difference was that apparently, they wouldn't dare to get too close to Ariana because they knew they'd both immediately get slapped. I really hoped Lily didn't hear the mention of my name.
"This isn't about Camila. Billie is out here trying to disrespect me." Lauren kept her defensive attitude and Ariana grabbed her shirt forcefully.
"Yeah, right. Bet your ass that I'll tell Lily all of the things you have been saying to Camila." I heard her threat and gulped, watching her let go of Lauren's shirt.
"What things?" Lauren tried to play dumb, but Ariana laughed sarcastically.
"Do you want me to yell them out here?" The singer crossed her arms, defying the party host.
