"I just don't understand, Draco." I stared at her, curiosity creeping over me.

"What do you not understand?"

I heard her swallow hard as she glared down at her feet.

I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Are you going to speak up, or not Alice?" I was now annoyed, she was acting as if it was difficult to talk to me.

She started to grip onto the edge of her seat. I could tell something was bothering her terribly.

She looked up at me, tears brimming over her eyes. "What's a mud-blood, Draco?" She whispered barley audible.

I instantly tensed up, my heart beat quickening. It was now my turn to grip my seat.

"Who said that to you?" I growled between clenched teeth.

I could tell she was debating whether

or not to tell me. She sighed and looked away, out the window.

"Marcus Flint" The tears now poured out, and well over her eyes. I could just feel my knuckles turning white as I gripped into my seat more forcibly.

She peered over to me, "What does it mean?" I could tell she was shaking.

"I could tell it was an insult, on account of how his friends acted when he spoke it." She laughed under her breath, hopelessly.

I caught her eyes with mine and let out an angry sigh.

"His friends?" I started to fumble with my fingers, in a hope to make the angry and hate subside.

She let out a breath and ran a hand through her hair. "Look, Draco," she stood up. "If you won't tell me, I'll just leave you to yourself."

I didn't have the heart to tell her, what a foul and dirty word that was.

I couldn't tell her, that I hated the word, I'd feel like a hypocrite. I looked down at my feet, feeling a loss for words.

She began to walk away, but I caught her wrist mid stride.

I glared at her sternly. "I do not want you to know what that word means." I muttered angrily, putting extra emphasis on 'do not'.

I softened my gaze when saw her eyes start to water again. I led her by the wrist to the empty seat, side-by-side with me.

I sighed heavily, once more and ran a hand over my face. "Please, Alice." I stopped to look at her once more. "Please don't make me tell you, what that word means."

Now, she, was at loss for words. She looked down into her lap and let her tears flow, once more.

Her head roughly fell onto my shoulder, and I grabbed her hand and intertwined our fingers together, Holding onto her tightly.

I began stroking her hair softly as a sob racked through her. "Shhh, Alice dear." I cooed into her ear, "I'm here."

She stayed wrapped up in my arms for awhile. Sobbing quietly, until she finally calmed herself down a bit.

"Next time this happens, find me. I'll gladly take care of it." I said into her hair.

She nodded in agreement and held my hand tighter. I kissed her forehead lightly, thoughts of revenge filled my head. Flint had it coming.
