Chapter 6: The Princess of Tu'la

It was next morning, I wake up with the sun in my eye and the warm embrace of Lance. I was still in my werewolf puppy form. Lance was asleep with the pillow still on his lap, I was curled up within the pillow itself. I look over and see that Michael is wide awake watching our surroundings. I get up slowly from the pillow so Lance doesn't wake up, I then walk over to Michael and sit next to him.

"Morning, how long have you been up?" I ask.

"About 2 or 3 hours, Lance decided to watch over you for most of the night. He didn't want to disappoint you this time like he did last time" He looked over at me and smiled.

" He really did that?" I turn back to my human form.

"Yup, he wanted to protect you so badly he stayed up really late doing do" He looked over at Lance and chuckled. "He's one interesting person, you gotta admit" He stares back at the forest.

"We should get going, the Kingdom of Tu'la isn't far from here" I put my hand on Michael's shoulder. "I think I have the perfect plan to get in" I giggle a bit. I then hear Lance beginning to wake up, he yawns while stretching. I get up and decided to poke Lance's cheek, he opened his eyes slowly and stared at me.

"Heh, morning sleeping beauty" I giggle, then stop poking him and grabbed my bag "Don't come looking for me please, I'm going to change" Lance's ears perk up and blushes, I walk away further into the forest. I stop in a nice secluded area and change out of the dress back into the outfit Milo had made for me.

As I start to put my clothes back on I notice the Tu'la Kingdom not far from where I stood. It looked like maybe 10-15 minutes away. I could see the palace too, it was huge, much bigger than I had read in books or paintings people have made. As I awe at the city, I hear Michael and Lance whispering to each other.

"My god this is embarrassing, she was sleeping on me" Lance said with a shaky voice as if he were really embarrassed.

"It wasn't that bad, you actually almost had a chance to get her, I've seen many guys try to get close to girls. And only 10 out of 100 have been able to get a girl by either being themselves or hitting on the girl" Michael says, I move closer so I can hear better, but no one can hear me.

"How do you know so much about this stuff?" Lance asked Michael.

"As a demon I have to travel to the Human world sometimes, so when I get the chance I go off duty and watch over how people act in the over world" Michael says as he packs up the stuff.

"Well I'm not trying to get with Kai anyways...she doesn't seem to be interested with anyone, all she cares for is her brother. And I can understand why" Lance sighs, Michael walks over and pats Lance's back.

"She'll come around" Michael says, and as Michael says that I turn back around and see Tu'la knights are coming towards us escorting a carriage. I grab my stuff and ran to the boys grabbing my satchel I left on the floor.

"We have to go, Tu'la Knights are coming, they seem to be escorting something so we have to go right now!"

They nod grabbing the rest of their things and followed me towards Tu'la. I went over to a large crack in the wall that was hidden with vines and crawled through it; Lance and Michael followed behind making sure no one follows. As soon as we get to an exit I tuck my ears and tail away once again; I stare out the hole to see a way to stay hidden within the crowd. There were Meifwa every where, and maybe a couple of humans, but more so Meifwa than any creature else.

"How do we get to the palace Lance" I move back into a dark ally and Lance and Michael follow behind

"I don't really know, not many have been inside the palace. I only know my way around the streets to get to the palace" he says, I see Michael watch as a carriage enters the city; it was big and fancy surrounded by Knights on horses and a meifwa mage by their side.
