[This is depressing]

[James POV]
I sprayed the whip cream in Adam's hand and shushed the others to stop laughing. I then brushed my finger on his face to make him itch.

SLAP!

"JAMEEEEESSSS!!!!!" "AAAAAAAAAAA" I screamed like a little girl and tripped on the rug under my bed. Jaiden and Timothy ran out of the room to save themselves and left me behind to DIE. "PLEASE HAVE MERCY!" I exclaimed while Adam was looking down at me, helpless on the floor, pleading for mercy. He put his hand on my face and smuthered my face with whipped cream. I stood up. "Hey, you got something on your face." Adam said, with a smirk. "No shit, sherlock." I replied and laughing right after.

I found myself eye to eye with Adam. There was an awkward silence. Adam took some of the whipped cream off of my face and ate it. "That will be 5 bucks." I said and Adam just laughed and grabbed his glasses and walked to the closest bathroom and I followed. I looked at myself in the mirror and said, "I look so hot with this on my face." "Indeed." Adam agreed with my statement as he washed his face. I stood there, frozen, after hearing what he just said. Did he mean it..?

[Go commit time skip]

I was sitting on the couch, watching the T.V. when suddenly, I heard a loud noise come from Jaiden's room. What was that? I got up and walked over to the door and opened it out of worry and fear if she was okay or not. "Jaiden, are you okaaaaaaaaaa.......ay-" when I opened the door, I saw Timothy and Jaiden... kissing... my heart broke and I slowly walked backwards out of the room.

I started to cry and a ran up to my room and slammed the door shut. I climbed into my bed and pulled the covers over my face and wheeped.

[Adam's POV]
I saw James run up the stairs and shortly after, I heard James' door slam shut. I rushed up the stairs and finally made it to the door of his room. I knocked on the door. "G-go away J-Jaiden.." I heard the crying boy say. "It's Adam, are you okay? Please let me in." I heard shuffling and then the door lock turn. The door opened slowly and I was met with a crying James. He hugged me immideitly after seeing me I hugged back. "What happened?" I said with worry in my voice. "J-jaiden." James said as he walled back into his room and sat on his bed. I joined him on his bed and put my arm around him for comfort. I couldn't stand it when I saw him sad. "Jaiden w-was... T-tim..." James said between sniffs and heavy breaths. I calmed him down and he stared his sentence again. "I like Jaiden and s-she was... kissing T-timothy and.." I stopped him from talking by wrapping my arms around him tightly. "It's okay." I told him.

[James POV]
I cried into Adam's chest and stained his shirt with my tears, but he didn't mind. I liked the company that Adam was giving me through this hard time. Adam is a nice guy, he's always there for me... he's the best at giving hugs.. and he's so handso- wait. What the heck? Why did I just think that!? Adam is my friend. And only my friend. And even if.. I did like him.. he's not gay, and neither am I!

I heard a knock on the door. "Go away." Adam said in a stern and deep voice. I always liked his deep voice. "Is he okay?" Jaiden said from the other side of the door. "Because of you, he's not." "W-well I'm sorry.." Jaiden stuttered. "No you're not. Go away. He doesn't need you right now." Adam said, tightening his grip around me. "Fine.." Jaiden said in defeat and she went back downstairs.

[Adam's POV]
Me and James stayed there, hugging each other for over 10 minutes until he stopped crying. I really wanted to keep hugging him but it was time to let go. "Thanks." James said, looking down and clearly blushing. "Anytime. Remember, you can come to me for anything." "You're the best, Adam." "I know." I said. "How about we go get some ice cream?" I added. "That would be nice." James said, with a smile on his face.

[Time Skip to the ice cream placccceee]

James got his ice cream after the long wait and we decided to walk while eating our ice cream. James started ranting about random things and I took this moment to study his facial details."adam? Adam? ADAM!" James said while snapping in my face, trying to get my out of my trance. "Huh? What?" I said in confusion. "There's a carnival in town! Look! Can we go?" James said while pointing to the carnival ahead of us. I finished my ice cream and said a simple, "Sure."

[James POV]
We entered the carnival after paying for the entrance fee and started to ride some rides. Adam won me a a teddy bear and gave it to me. I blushed and thanked him. "It's starting to get dark.." Adam said while looking up at the sky. "Perfect for the ferris wheel!" I said and grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the ferris wheel. We got on and eventually made it to the top. "The view is beautiful up here!" I said while taking in the amazing view.

[Adam's POV]
'Not as beautiful as you..' I thought to myself. I should tell him now. I should tell him the secret that I've been hiding from him all these years. "Hey.. James..?" I asked nervously. "Yeah?" James said with a smile on his face as he turned to face me. I blushed deeply and said, "I.. have something to tell you.. I've been wanting to say this for years, but never had the chance." "What.. is it..?" James asked curiously. I looked away from his eyes and mumbled, "I... I like... you." He must have not heard me because he said, "What did you say?" "I like you, James." I said and blushed up to my ears. I turned to his face, expecting him to decline me but, surprisingly..

..he kissed me?!?!

[James POV]
"I-im so sorry.." I said with all kinds of shades of pink on my face. "No, no, it's fine" Adam said with a smile. "I liked it." "Then you won't mind me doing this-" I said before kissing him again and shortly after, him kissing back. We backed out of the kiss becuase the ferris wheel ride was about to end. We got out of our seats and left the carnival, with hands interlocked.

[Adam's POV]
We got out of the car after that very efficient time skip and walked into the house. Jaiden and Timothy were sitting on the couch when we walked in and of course, she had to say something, "Omg where have you guys been? Is James okay?" "He doesn't want to talk to you right now." I said back to Jaiden. "What are you,  his boyfriend? You can't tell him want he wants and doesn't want!" Jaiden said and straightened her posture. "Actually.. I am. And I know what he wants. He told me." I said and gave James a kiss and we continued up the stairs to his room.

I kicked off my shoes and took off my glasses and put them on the table next to me and threw myself onto James' bed. "Oh, so you're sleeping in here?" James questioned. "Mhm." I said, muffled by the bed. James joined me in bed after he shut off the light and I jumped onto him. "Ow what the heck?" James said and wrapped his arms around me. "Just let it happen." I replied.
