Max's POV

I trudged down the busy street. I had convinced them to let me go by myself to the apartment.

To be honest, I was terrified. What was Percy going to think? Was he going to be mad?

I shuddered at the thought of a mad Percy.

I had seen him in battles. It wasn't a pretty sight.

I reached the cozy apartment. I knocked on the door. 6 times, 3 slow, 3 fast.

It was our knock, so we knew it was us. I heard running towards the door.

Percy threw open the door. "Ohmygods." Percy said as if he was gasping for air before throwing his arms around me. It was a bit painful, but he whispered in my ear,

"What happened."

"Let me get this straight. You got kidnapped by super heroes, shot by their leader, joined the kidnappers, almost died, and then they let you come back?" Percy said. "Just for a few days. I have training on monday." I said casually, eating a blue cookie.

I decided to walk back over to the couch as Percy waited in the kitchen for the cookies to cool.

He learned that lesson the hard way.

My thoughts where interrupted when Percy yelled, "BLUE COOKIES ARE DONE!"

And 5 demigods came falling out of various rooms, unceremoniously, might I add.

Jason, Will and Nico, Piper, and Leo. Their states varied from ridiculous bedhead to ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS. (Piper. Let the gay show, sweetie.)

Annabeth was already sitting on the couch, asleep with her head in Percy's lap.

She was constantly tired while she was at college and could pass out almost anywhere, even on Percy in the five minutes she could.

Actually, she could fall asleep especially on Percy.

"Are you sure your okay?" Will asked me.

"William, I'm fine." I said, letting annoyance stretch into my voice.

Leo was messing around with the tracker being all Leo about it. I was going to crush it anyways, he could do whatever with it.

Everyone was just chatting, as I slightly dozed off next to Percy, leaning into his warm shoulder.

I finally felt safe. I decided to not tell anyone about the deal with Loki.

They'll think I'm insane. They'll think I turned out to be like Ethan. I'm a traitor. A traitor.

I felt a blue cookie being shoved into my mouth. I looked up and saw Leo, grinning.

"Waaaaake upppppp!" He said in his stupid sing-song voice, sitting beside me.

"What was the tech like there? Was it cool? Did you see his suits? How did they make the suit? Did you become a cyborg?" Leo demanded, jumping up and down in his seat excitedly.

"Dude, calm yourself. I did see his suit, when they were kidnaping me. No, I'm not a cyborg. The tech was pretty cool. I dont know how they made the suit. Chill." I said, out of breath.
