"It really is you, but...how? You were supposed to be my familiar." I murmured, my eyes wide. He looked thoughtful for a moment, "Why can't I be both? I could be your familiar to everyone else and your soulmate behind closed doors." His voice a deep murmur, as I slowly slid down the wall to sit on the floor. "There has...never been a pair like this...a monster and a human...we will have to keep this quiet. I don't want them to try to take you from me." I almost whispered, slowly looking back up at him. His grin seemed to widen and split, revealing sharp fangs, "They could try, don't think they would get very far with that though. No one will keep me from you, never again." He growled, his one eye glowing with his power. My cheeks flushed as I looked up at him. No one besides my brother were ever that determined to stay with me. "Well...I told you my name, I need yours so I can complete our bonding spell." I said with a small smile, slowly standing up. His cheeks lit up a glowing cyan as his eye sputtered out. "I...umm...Sans...my name is...Sans."  he almost stuttered as he looked at me. I chalked it up to my clothes or the lack of clothes I had on, my shorts barely covering anything and my sports bra baring my stomach. I reached my hand out to him, smiling. "Take my hand Sans." his cool hand was placed in mine as I momentarily was awed at how soft his bones actually felt. A red chain of magic coiled around our arms, double looping around our joined hands. I was surprised when a chain of blue magic joined the red, adding to the strength of the bonding. When the magic slowly flicked out, we smiled at each other. "I've never seen a bonding like that, usually it's just the mage's magic that does the binding, your magic reached back for mine." I said with a bright smile, my cheeks flushed. "Is it a bad thing? Skeletons always have reactive magic and with you being my soulmate, my magic is already attuned to yours." He rumbled out quietly. I smiled more and shook my head no before shivering. He quickly shrugged out of his hoodie, offering it to me. "Sans, you don't have to give me your jacket, I have the clothes I wore in." I said with a shy smile. "Sorry Sweetheart, I guess just wanted to see my clothes on you." He murmured with a soft blush. I blushed more and slowly took his jacket, pulling it in and zipping it closed. It seemed to be about 3 sizes too big and almost a dress to me but seeing his smile made me happy.
