I woke up with your warm, skinny body in my arms.

You were breathing slowly - calmly.

Your face is even more beautiful up close.

Today, we went on the train together again.

I realized that I never asked where you were going. I always wondered what school you went to.

I asked today.

You said you weren't going to school...

You were going to work? At a farm on the outskirts of Daegu?

But you were only 16!

You told me it was because your father beat you if you didn't get money to fund his drinking habits.

That made me angry.

I convinced you that you didn't need to work any more. Next Monday you agreed to come to my school with me and see if you like it.

You don't need to slave away any more.

After we arrived back home, you pointed out my fairy lights.

I explained how they lit up if the doorbell was rung because I couldn't hear it.

You look cute when you are fascinated.

Things went downhill after dinner when you threw up the kimchi and rice I made us...

You said it was because you weren't used to such rich food. Your body rejected the sudden calorie rush...

I'm sorry. I'll make sure you can eat delicious things soon...
