Sitting on the roof,
It was getting cold
It was raining, but
You didn't want to goIt was like the trees,
They were dancing for us,
The stars, they were all
Shining just for usThe air smelled like us,
And the falling drops were warm,
I know it was one,
But it didn't seem like a stormThe sky was so dark,
Thunder burning up the gone,
I know it was one,
But it didn't seem like a stormThere was a fault in our stars,
Yes, but we made our own constellations,
Now the sky glows,
With all our hopesBurnt into my mind,
Is the picture of us,
Standing out of sight,
As the storm kept raging onI remember the day,
I met you on the roof,
The time of my life,
Say you feel so tooI saw in the frosted windows,
When the night was our only friend,
And the drops were our audience,
As we danced to our own rhythmThe place we met
Is all wet from the rain,
But now,
Roses bloom thereEndless nights, in your eyes
Around you time just flies
In your eyes, in your eyes,
Is always a new surprise
