rylands pov.

i woke up around 6:30 the next morning and couldn't go back to sleep so i decided to get ready for school. i couldn't wait to see shane again even though i had been with him all weekend. it's like he was a magnet to me and i always needed to be connected to him. yeah, that sounded obsessive, but it was only because I loved him. I smiled to myself, I just couldn't believe Shane was mine.

After my shower I threw on a white long sleeve hoodie and a pair of light blue jeans. I grabbed a pop tart from the cabinet and sat down at the table.

"Goodmorning, Ryland" my mom said kissing me on the cheek.

"Goodmorning!" i said cheerfully. I normally wasn't a morning person but I couldn't contain my excitement. There were only 5 minutes left until Shane picked me up for school. My knee was bouncing and I'm sure my mom could tell something was up.

"Why so antsy?" she asked with a smile. "Anything to do with last weekend?"

"maybe" I said blushing.

"He's totally head over heels in love with Shane, mom" Morgan said bouncing into the kitchen grabbing herself a pop tart before sitting down across from me.

"Is that true, Ryland?" my mom asked. Great what if she won't let me go anywhere with him now that she knows I love him?

"Yeah" I said smiling to myself. I had butterflies just thinking about it.

"I'm glad you found someone you love son! So when do we get to meet him?" she asked me.

"You should ask him to come over this weekend!" Morgan squealed. She liked Shane as much as I did and she barely knew him. As I was about to answer my phone dinged.

from Shane😘: I'm here baby :))

from me: coming😘

"sure sure. Shane's here to get me" I said rushing to throw my trash away and grab my bag.

"bye love bird" Morgan said laughing at me. I saw my mom smile and wave before I sprinted out the door. I could see Shane through his window, he was fixing his hair in the dash mirror. i practically sprinted to his car opening the door and hopping in.

"goodmorning" i said smiling brightly at him. he looked absolutely gorgeous in his black skinny jeans and dark blue shirt. his hair was messy on his head and his green eyes were shining with the morning sun.

"goodmorning" he said leaning over and kissing me on the cheek. "did you sleep good?" he asked me. i blushed before nodding.

"until morgan came bursting into the room interrogating me" i said laughing at the memory.
"how about you?" i asked him staring into his eyes.

"would've been better if i could hold you" he said a smile playing on his lips. i grabbed his hand interlocking our fingers. shane picked up my hand and kissed my knuckles before pulling out of my driveway and towards school. i dreaded going back to school, i hated it. i knew somebody would pick on me like normal, just because i was gay.. and i also knew my other friends would ask a million questions about shane and i.

"what're you thinking about?" shane asked his brow raised as he stared at me curiously. i sighed slightly but shane noticed.

"just not ready for school" i told him with a small smile. shane frowned and squeezed my hand tighter.

"why?" he asked me. shane didn't know i got beat up a lot. he had just moved here and we didn't have that many classes together. i couldn't get myself to tell him tho. he would freak out.

"just wish we were back at the house" i told him which wasn't a complete lie. i did want to go back to the house and be alone with him, away from everyone else. but other things were pondering in the back of my mind.
