Ned went to the bench and the bailiff said, "Raise your right hand." Ned raised his right hand, and the bailiff asked, "do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?" Ned nodded and said, "I do." He then sat on the witness stand. Collin walked to him and asked, "Mr. Leeds, you are the defendant's best friend, yes?" Ned nodded and said, "yeah, we've been friends since middle school." Collin then asked, "and is it true that you were the first person after Tony Stark to find out that Mr. Parker was Spider-Man?"
"Yeah, it was kind of by accident," admitted Ned as he recounted what happened. "How did you 'accidentally' find out your best friend was Spider-Man?" Collin asked. "Well, I came over to his aunt's apartment because we were gonna build the Lego Death Star together," explained Ned, "and I was in his room waiting for Peter, when I saw him in his suit. Once he took off his mask, I was shocked, to say the least." Jessica smirked a little. This Parker kid made way more mistakes. But at least he seemed to have a good heart. But he should learn to shut his door more often. "And is it true you've made distractions to ensure Peter could run off and play the hero?" Collin asked. "Well someone had to," admitted Ned, "I've definitely been Pete's tech support."
"Did you know that Mr. Parker was going to send drones to terrorize London?" Collin asked. "No, Peter was actually trying to stop the drones," said Ned as he frowned. "Really? Then why did Peter try to sabotage Beck's mission to stop The Elementals?" Collin asked. "Those giant monsters were totally fake," defended Ned, "he used it as a cover-up to kill me and my friends." Collin gave a dumbfounded look. It was a fabrication?? Collin looked at Matt and Jennifer and said, "Your witness, Miss Walters... I may need to recollect myself." Jennifer stood up and walked on over to Ned. "Mr. Leeds, can you elaborate and expand upon the answer you gave Mr. Cochran?" she asked. "Well, Peter, MJ, and I stumbled onto something when we were in Prague," explained Ned, "we found out that those Elemental monsters were actually advanced projectors coming out of these drones that Mysterio created himself. He rigged our trip so that we could stop at London, and Mysterio used some drones to kill me, MJ, Betty, Flash, and Happy. We were able to destroy them. He created that monster as a cover-up to kill us and play the hero." Many attendees in the courtroom murmured comments of shock. Jameson's jaw was slack open. Matt could sense how nervous Collin was. "Is what you're saying true, Mr. Leeds?" Jennifer asked. "Yes Miss Walters," said Ned, "Peter didn't use the drones to terrorize London, he was trying to stop Mysterio from causing civilian casualties, and he saved our lives in the process. Peter's more of a hero than Mysterio." Peter smiled a little. He knew he could count on Ned. "No further questions your honor," said Jennifer as Ned left the stand. Collin then said, "the state calls as their next witness, Michelle Jones."
