Amber's POV:
We walked into the 7-11, pulling drinks from the fridge, not caring that people were looking at us. "You gonna pay for those?" The cashier asked. Hopper belched and didn't reply. Hopper told everyone to go grab a snack so we did and Hopper went to pay for it. Alexei was messing with the slurpee machine, pulling the lever and cherry landing on his fingers. He licked it off his fingers and I nudged Hopper who looked.

He huffed and said "get it for him, please." I walked over to Alexei and said "you want this?" He nodded eagerly and I got one for him. "Good?" I asked. Alexei gave me a thumbs up as he sipped on the slurpee. Hopper was beyond annoyed. We went outside and Hopper told us to get in this car, that was somebody else's. Alexei and I got in the backseat and Hopper began telling the man that he needed the car because he had to transport a prisoner. "You see that man in there, I know he doesn't look it, but he's one of the most dangerous men in the world." Hopper said. Alexei brought the slurpee to his lips and the man stared at Alexei. I ruffled Alexei's hair and the man looked at Hopper and said "you're pulling my leg right?"

"Nope. He's a child murderer." Hopper quickly said. Joyce turned around and said "child murderer?" Hopper quickly sped off and we arrived at a house that looked very shady. "How do you know this man is going to help us?" Joyce said as we got out. "I don't. But Amber here doesn't speak full Russian." Hopper said. I shrugged and said "sorry." Alexei stood next to me, looking around. Hopper began talking to the camera that was outside the house, telling him that we needed his services. The door opened and a man held a shotgun in our faces. Joyce gasped and Alexei put his hands up in defense. Hopper rolled his eyes and the man, who I'm assuming was Murray, put the gun closer to Alexei's face. "Get that out of my face, you bald American pig." Alexei said. I gasped at him and Murray said something just as snarky back to Alexei.

We walked in Murray's house and he stared Alexei down. "You brought a Russian into my house." "Yeah. We need you to translate." Hopper said. I looked up at Alexei who wasn't putting up with Murray's shit. "You ok?" I asked him. Murray looked at me and then at Hopper. "She speaks Russian. Why do you need me?" "I don't speak it all, idiot." I replied. Murray scoffed and went to grab a stick which had some device at the end of it. Alexei looked at Murray, trying to figure out what he was getting ready to do. Murray began waving the device around Alexei's body and Alexei jumped.

"Hey!" He said in English. Murray chuckled as Alexei tried to get away from his device. Hopper sniggered and I looked at him. He bit his lip and Joyce said "will you stop that? Please?" Murray shook his head and Joyce began screaming at him about all we've been through. "Translate whatever he has to say so I can figure out why my magnets are falling off my damn fridge!" She said. Hopper was doing anything he could to stop from laughing and Murray put the device down, gesturing for us to come into the living room. I sat down next to Alexei who looked tired. "Tired?" I asked him. He shrugged while nodding. I took his glasses off his face, wiping the smudge off of them and handing them back. "Thanks." Alexei said. Murray stared at the two of us and I said "what?" "You have bad taste in men. An enemy of the state?" He said. I scoffed and said "we're not together." "Ah, but your body language says different. What happened? He has to come to Hawkins to do some shadiness and you guys broke up? Boo hoo. And now you're magically reunited, just to fall in love all over again." Murray said. My mouth hung agape and Alexei nudged me. "What's he saying?" He said. "I said that I know all about your relationship." Murray said, repeating what he said to me in Russian to Alexei. Alexei stared at Murray and a smirk grew on the older mans face. "I know I'm right." He said in Russian. "Bite me." Alexei replied. Murray laughed and Hopper said "can we please stop with this? You're gonna translate what he has to say and you're no longer going to play matchmaker." Joyce nodded in agreement and Alexei sat back against the couch. Murray stood up and walked into the other room. I looked at Alexei and said "at least we're in air conditioning." Alexei looked over at Murray and scoffed.
