Chapter 24

David began giving us a tour of the festival grounds. He showed us the important places such as the main stage, food places and bathrooms.

He also showed us other things to do.

"Wow, this place is impressively huge!" I mused.

"So is our future together," Roger said proudly.

I looked at him.

Pete and David laughed.

Caden, Xavier and Ben just stood there awkwardly.

"I will cut your dick off," I hissed.

Roger grimaced.

The guys were practically choking from laughter.

"Anyway," David said, "That's really the important stuff, the rest you can discover yourself. Now I'm guessing you guys don't have 70's costumes?"

I shook my head.

"We have no idea where to start," I laughed.

"Don't worry, I got you," David handed us millennials four bags, "They have clothes in them for all five days, for each of you."

"Oh, you didn't have to do that!"

"Nonsense," David waved his hand, "I'm happy to take care of you guys. Do you wanna go out for lunch?"

"Sure," Ben replied.

"Alright."

We got in the car, and drove to a nice restaurant. We walked into the restaurant and got our seats.

"So," Roger began, "You guys excited?"

"Y/N practically passed out when David messaged her, so that's yes," Caden laughed.

"I never expected that our band would become a part of such a huge festival!" I replied.

Roger opened his mouth to speak. He had a smirk which meant nothing intelligent was going to come out.

"Don't."

He closed his mouth and pouted.

We ordered our food and drinks, and kept talking while we waited.

"The festival was always such a huge hit," Pete said as his food was placed in front of him, "I guarantee people will love your band, even though you're a cover band."

I understood what he was saying. We were going to be with a bunch of bands performing their original music. We were covering songs from the other bands that weren't going.

I hoped they were gonna like us.

"Don't look so worried Y/N," Xavier smiled at me, "Pete's right, they're gonna love us."

I smiled back at him and nodded.

"So, what other bands are going to be there? I know you told me the ones that weren't going," I looked at David.

"Ah well," David thought for a moment, "Led Zeppelin, J Geils, Eric Clapton, and Queen."

I choked a bit.

"Q-Queen?"

"Yeah, are you ok?" David asked concerned.

"Uh huh," I responded.

"Dude, I told you," Caden teases, "Stop going for older men."

This time I almost spit out my drink.

"Caden you fucker, I'm gonna kill you," I mumbled hiding my face.

"Older men?" Roger laughed, "I hope you mean the younger versions of us."

Caden nodded.

"She thinks a bunch of rockstars are hot."

I glared at him.

"Oh really? Who?" Pete pressed on.

I hate everything.

"Caden, can we perhaps talk about so-"

"Well," he began, "She thinks Axl Rose is nice looking, Rick Wright, Jim Morrison, Daltrey, Gilmour, Brian May and Townshend. Especially Townshend, she thought your younger self was a god."

I just sat there, staring at the food on my plate uncomfortably.

"I hate you," I whispered.

"I hate you too, Y/N," Caddn said back.

"A god, eh?" Pete smirked.

"I'm gonna fucking kill you, Caden," I grunted.

They all laughed.

"So I've heard on the news lately, there's a girl hanging out with Keanu Reeves. She kinda looks like you, Y/N," Roger looked at me.

"Oh yeah, I have been hanging out with him. He's super cool and friendly!" I said.

"I've actually never got the chance to meet him," Roger said, "He seems like a nice guy."

"He honestly is," I sighed, "He bought me a guitar! Like jeez, I would never expect someone I just met to do that."

"I would assumd he likes you? And you like him?" Roger asked.

"H-huh? Well, he's a great person, but I don't know how I feel about him.." I twiddle my thumbs.

"Well that's probably cos you're sitting right in front of greatness," Roger grinned.

"I could've sworn you never flirted this much," I made a face.

"There are some things you don't about me then, darling," Roger laughed.

I thought back to Keanu and John.

I was worried about John, but I knew he'd be fine.

Keanu was at home, working on his movies.

For once I have to stop worrying and just sit back and have fun.

We sat through the rest of our lunch with jokes, more flirting from Roger and discussing the festival.

We said our goodbyes to Roger, then David drove us back to our hotel.

"Thank you so much, David, and Pete," I said.

"It was no problem," David waved me off.

"It was nice to see you again Y/N," Pete smiled, "We'll see you tomorrow."

The four of us headed back up to our room to veg out.

"Yo Y/N," Caden called out, "I'm goin for a smoke. Wanna come with?"

"Yeah, sure," I replied.

I got up off the couch and followed Caden outside of the hotel.

"So, it was funny watching Daltrey flirt with you," Caden snickered, sticking the cigarette in his mouth, "Although from what I've heard, that's kinda unlike him."

I nodded.

"It was a bit odd, especially when undid his shirt," I fanned myself.

Caden laughed.

I stuck the cigarette in my mouth and lit it.

"There's so much going on lately," I said taking a drag from my cig.

"It's ok Y/N, we're gonna make sure you get the best life possible," he looked at me, "I know you wanna be a rockstar, but I'm sure you don't wanna be dragged around by Keanu, Wick, or anyone else."

"I'm not really sure what I wanna do at this point," I groaned.

"I'm not sure what to either," Caden draped an arm around me.
