Ok I'm thinking I'll start making shorter more frequent chapters instead of longer ones every once in a while ok let's get on with it. But if you like the longer chapters let me know and I'll go back to them.
Wills POV
I woke up to the bright sun shining through my window and the crashing of something glass hitting the floor down stairs followed by mom asking what broke. I get up and go down stairs to investigate. It turns out that Thea fell down the last couple stairs and knocked the table over and broke a light and a vase and so there's a broken table, a lamp that thankfully is fine, a shattered vase some daffodils and a puddle of water because of course the vase had fresh cut flowers in it. Thea is sitting in a chair and is mostly fine other than a bruised hip from where she hit the table.
"Well that's one way to wake me up"
"Ya it all went perfectly according to plan" Thea says.
"So what do you want for breakfast, pancakes?"
" I'm good me and Kai are going for breakfast soon."
" Ok, mom you want pancakes?"
" Sure sweetheart,"
" Ok pancakes for two" I announce while being drown out by the door bell and Thea jumping out of her seat to leave.
"Bye Will bye mom,"
"Bye" we call. And with that I resume my pancake making.
Time skip
"So any new guys in your life?" Leo asks me
"Oh um well,"
" omg there is somebody isn't there? Who?"
" I'm not dating anyone Leo,"
" Fine... so who are you talking to right now," Good lord nothing gets past him. I look up when I hear the bell jingle and of course Nico walks in with a girl but it's not his sister at least not Bianca. Leo and I are at a table closer to the back so I can't hear them but there not obviously excited about something.
I didn't notice but apparently I was smiling and so Leo tired to see what I was looking at.
"You like DiAngelo don't you?"
" What I uh um, no?" The last part came out as more of a question than I planed.
" Man you guys are complete opposites... you would be cute together." At this point I'm a blushing mess and it doesn't help that Leo waves Nico over and starts having a conversation with him and the girl. Because my luck is that Leo knows Nico... Great🙄.
"So Hazel are you visiting?" Leo asks. While I put my eyes on the table and my empty ice cream bowl to distract myself from Nico.
" Actually my family is moving back in town so we get to have our last year of high school together." The girl ,Hazel says.
" wait really, Omgs that's amazing," Leo jumps up to hug her. And they keep talking. I feel a tap on my shoulder and look up to see Nico.
"Scoot over there gonna be talking forever," And so I did and we sat there together for an hour while Hazel and Leo talked. Apparently Leo has had a crush on Hazel Freshman year but there friends now. Eventually Nico had to leave and so me and Leo also left a few minutes after them and Leo would not let go of the fact that me and Nico day next to each other.
