14. Ajax

          For some reason I just can help but to think that my sperm-donor had something to do with Brandon's break in. When I got home with Zach, he decided to stay the night cause he thinks he should protect me or whatever, all the lights except the kitchen light was off letting me know that my mom wasn't home yet.

"So you think it was just a coincidence?" Zach said turning on some of the lights and walking over to the island in the kitchen.

"A small part of me thinks so. The other part says my dad has something to do with this" I really hope it wasn't him that caused this. We may have our thing, but to bring people who have nothing to do with it, in this. That's stooping real low, especially for him and all that he's done.

"I was thinking that, but aye, at least they're safe now." he said giving me a sympathy smile. "You gonna tell your moms?" He said watching me pace back and forth. I'm stressing cause now my friends are in danger and they won't be able to defend themselves and now I have to tell them everything that's going on. I have to end this soon. Very soon. 

"I'm gonna have too, she's going find out sooner or later." I said and on cue, I heard the keys jingling in the lock and the door opened. She walked straight into the kitchen, not saying anything nor taking off her heels and got a bottle of water from the refrigerator and sat down at the island. She took a sip of her water while looking at Zach and I, still not saying a word. Finally, after finishing her water, she set the empty bottle

"So, y'all wasn't gonna tell me what happened? It was all over the news about  two boys saving two people from a break in." She said looking at the both of us. I don't know why I was so nervous. I shifted legs as I started to speak,

"Well when we got here we were too busy thinking about who could possibly be the cause of the break in."  She started at us for a few moments before shaking her head and sitting down at the island.

"Well its obvious that you father set this break-in up to harm your friends Jax, but I don't think he anticipated that you would be there along with your boyfriend."

"Yeah I know, so what's what's our next move?" I said ready to hurt my father. 

"Right now, we do nothing." She said getting up and taking off her heels. I looked at her in shock.

"What? What do you mean nothing? So you just expect me to sit back not planning anything while he's out there already planning his next move?" I said getting a little loud.

"First of all, lower your tone. Second of all, since we don't know where Zennon is located is just yet, I have to talk to grandma and grandpa to get updates on his location. But for now we are going to sit and wait for one of his moves. For now, we are going to go about our lives normally" She said walking away and going upstairs.

"Our lives aren't normal though." I mumbled under my breath and started to walk out the kitchen as I felt Zach grab my arm. I forgot he was even there.

"You good?" He said pulling me into his arms. I nodded my head hoping he would feel the assurance.

"Yeah Im good, I just want this to all be over" I said pulling away, grabbing his hand, and pulling him up stairs. I closed my door once we got in my room and we both stripped to our underwear and got into the bed. He turned the light off as he got in the bed behind me. As soon as his arm stretched over my body, all my worries went away. For now.

"I love you." He said kissing my neck.

"I love you too." I mumbled before fading off....................

Each day passes by as I lay in this lonely cell in this lonely dungeon. All I hear are the rats speaking or water dripping from the ceiling. It must've rained. Thats the only action I get down here, except for when HE comes down here and roughs me up a bit. He always injects me with this type of serum once in a while, so my bones are weak most of the time. Thats why I haven't been able to fight back and escape. Or I would've been out this piece. Speaking of once in a while.....
